That was a very enjoyable read. I loved the vanishing act by the houseelves. And I am bursting with curiosity about Sirius' punishment.
Recipe? I'm sure this isn't what you meant, but I'm feeling snarky.
Cuppa cuppa cuppa, via Steel Magnolias.
Cuppa flour, cuppa sugar, cuppa fruit cocktail...with the juice. Mix then all together and bake at 350 until gold and bubbly. Sounds aweful rich. It is, so I serve it over ice cream to cut the sweetness.

I remembered the name of the song from the quote, so I'm in this time. "Hot Child in the City", by Nick Gilder.

'Hot child in the city'? Don't know the band, though, and I probably should, darn it. I really feel sorry for poor Pepper the elf, if she finds out the orders weren't quite so restrictive, lol. and I do love Sirius getting beaned with the lamp, LMAO! Why would she think that Lucius would recognize Perry Mason's name? He's still not all that hep on Muggle culture and the series wasn't that popular in Britain anyway, I don't think. Now, please, please update fast so I can find out what Sev does to Sirius? Pretty please?

Correction: right title, wrong singer, I was told by my sister that it's Ann Murray, not Helen Reddy. Sorry. Do I get half a cookie?

*snort* LOL, too funny on the added plot deviation / twist of Severus & Sirius' wager. Can't wait to see how that plays out!

Woohoo!! Love Severus' response to sirius and I can't wait to see what Hermione does to them both. Severus for stooping to Sirius' level and Sirius for saying he could have Hermione. Haha can't wait to see those hexes fly.
The song is 'Can I Have This Dance' by Anne Murray! Great Story update soon!

Regrettably I think it's Helen Reddy: 'May I Have this Dance (for the rest of my life)'. Urgh, I KNOW that? Eep. Sirius needs to have his nuts hexed off just to prove to him that he is as much of an ass as everyone claims. Go for it!

Sorry I haven't reviewed before! I enjoyed the last story and I am loving this one too! You have managed to create another interesting mystery, and I can't wait to find out what is going on. Also, the song is called Careless Whispers by Wham. A favorite of mine growing up!

Nice chapter. I'm glad to see that the plot is moving along more briskly now.
