Young people can be that clueless you know. I was, when I was young...
I'am a french woman, not young actually (45 yrs old) and when I was 16, I didn't know where babies came from, or nothing about the childbirth and the sex. My parents were people like Vernon and Petunia, very strict and hard. The "talk" didn't exist in my family. At school, there were no such things as sexual education or else.
I had few friends and all younger than me. Asking for that type of questions wasn't possible. Everything below the navel was forbidden or shamed, even monthly female subject... I didn't know what it was at that time and was afraid, of cause.
Well... you wrote Harry's reactions perfectly, so please update soon.
My english is not very good, I am sorry for that.

Anyway, I just explained that yes, actually, the primary school would start his sex-ed at that age. I'm British and had my first at the age of 10, a scary video with a robot and we had books in class about it too. But who cares!?
I also commented on Albus' hand pupppets... *laughing* great fic! :D
