OMG! So sad, yet so beautiful. I don't know why I still get surprised by how unbelievably you write your lovely stories! You're the slash queen I swear it! LOL. You never fail to astound me! This story was everything that a good slash story could ever ask for, and the whole spell angle was perfect!
Thank you so much for sharing it :D

awww I wish that those two could somehow end up together. spending the rest of their lives like this could ruin them.

that was so sad and beautiful. I feel like you really captured harry and ron as best friends. you gave it such depth and meaning and you made sure to keep them men all the same. i loved it. great job :)

I do understand that neither of them want to share what happened with their respective girlfriends., especially considering the years that have passed since it took place. However, things have a way of coming out, and they both disappearing, the *same* night, once a month, for the rest of their lives, is bound to raise suspicions sometime in the future.
It was a very interesting premise: both of them are forced into a kind of relationship neither of them wants, and they struggle not to let it interfere with their lives, but it does, affecting not only their friendship, but also their relationship with Ginny and Hermione, their own self-image, and the way they view human interaction (Ron's freaking out every time he sees rough sex, consensual or not).
I wouldn't mind if you continued in this universe (that is my *subtle* hint, and you know how persistent I can be!), as the implications behind every one of their actions and words hints to a whole new story: the way Ron is willing to 'abandon' his life just because he couldn't bear to see Harry alone, and the atmosphere that permeated every word of the fic.

You wrote Ron and Harry? Where? Would love to read them. They are my second favorite slash pairing. The first is Ron and Draco. Anyway, this was unique and what an imagination to come up with those spells. I felt so sorry for them and the pain but glad they finally are finding solance in each other. The flashback frightened me and very glad we didn't get a more detailed version of what Ron went through. Squeed when Snape made a quick but perfect interference. You truly know Ron and write him so well.
