Emotional, but with unusual clarity. I do love the way she is using his own prejudices against him, letting him actually see her and setting up her lover. I wonder how she's arranged for him to get away from Snape?

Just read your profile, and did you know that Nacodogches (sorry if I misspelled it) is also mentioned in the John Wayne movie 'Big Jake'? Very funny scene, too. Good chapter, I am wondering how this will go, and REALLY wondering how Harry was persuaded to impersonate nape.

You have an excellent take on the subject of survivor's guilt and the necessity for someone of Severus' suicidal temperament to radically need to adjust. He can no longer just try to throw himself away, now he has to find a better place for himself, within himself. Solving the mystery of his doppelganger should make for a good ride. Waiting for more!

I'm hoping you're going to reveal that Ron and Hermione were the ones in Hagrid's hut. They must have some kind of understanding- "I'll be Snape for you, Hermione, even though I think you're completely twisted for wanting him... but only if you'll be Lavender for me!"
