Poor Harry. He seems to think the evil he knows is better than the one he doesn't know. Hopefully Severus will be able to change that without too much trauma for either of them.

I'm also glad you understood that my bit of criticism was meant to be constructive, and not a bashing of your writing. My dad worked on a newspaper for 27 years, so if there is one thing I grew up with, it's an editor-ish mindset. I don't look for perfection by any means. Sometimes incorrect grammar is appropriate to the writing in question, especially with fiction. But sometimes things will stick out as being not right.
