Yay for making Blaise a relatively 'good guy' although I'm sure I would have enjoyed this story just the same even if he hadn't said and done what he did. :) I'm glad Draco has an ally in this mess. And Hermione, I'm sure the witches would have ripped her to shreds the moment she was returned to the Warren so it's lucky she found some measure of protection rather quickly. I understand why they would have thought she might have betrayed them though. And at what cost - she left Draco behind too, she's done her duty in passing on the news of the planned attacks (once again love how the 'men' thought so little of her that they were not careful what they said in front of her) but at such a price. Still, it's the catylist they need. Loved the knight in shining armour bit too as he arrived just in time to 'sweep her off her feet' and save the day. Well done!!!! Can't wait to see what's next. :)

And you're welcome for the review, it was a pleasure to read and comment. :)

So Blaise isn't in a game with Theo to take Draco down a notch, as I incorrectly assumed. Interesting. I'm very interested in knowing where this is going to go. Please update again soon!

Wow what a great couple of chaps and oh so powerful I am glad that she left Draco not that I want them apart just that he needs to see what his actions do to others and that he does not always gets what he wants I wonder what will happen now I am so in love with the way you wrote Draco thigh he has sooo many layers

I'm still reading. You're still making me happy with every new chapter. And I still intend to make a hard copy once you're done...

I was so thrilled to go to AFF tonight and see your story. The earring scene was great. I loved the way "Jeanne" handled herself with dignity and showed the Slytherin Death Eaters they were low class sods for all their pureblood snootiness. Good for her to sticking to her morals and getting out of the situation with Draco. As always for me, I want the good side to win but shall wait to see how it goes, then I wonder what will happen to the High Reeve who stepped over his dead mother's body? BTW, I liked that extra bit to show that he was taking advantage of the situation, and saving his own skin. I would also love to see someone blast Theo. Oh and was it Markus Flint who made the comment about the conversation boring a woman? What a dork! I can think of an extra special curse affecting someone's ability to perform sexually. "Oh, poor Markus. Are my actions boring you?" after hours of fruitless attempts by a Knockturn Alley pureblood whore. Mu ha ha ha Anyway, I look forward to the next chapter. :)

Great chapter. I love the glimpses of the inner turmoil both Hermione and Draco are dealing with as a result of her leaving. Draco is obviously disgusted with himself for going along with the idea. I feel he's redeemed himself, at least to an extent, with the rescue. Well done. I love this story!

You are not talking to cyberspace, promise!

Good job with Hermione keeping a detailed list of all planned raids, very her. And how you made it clear Draco's doing a crap job with things, how his thoughts are so distracted.

I didn't look over past stuff to check, but I feel like the end of this most recent chapter is the only time you've ever overlapped POVs, and it felt a little weird because of that (it could just be my bad memory)...

Exciting to find out who's alive or dead still. I do wish we could have seen a bit more with the Weasleys, but I understand you want to keep the plot moving.
