Yay! I'm glad to see that you are back. I missed this story.

Loved the letter from Mum. It was just what Helena needed to ensure she remains safe. Will Snape ever let up on her or will he make such a complete ass of himself that she has to take matters into her own hands and prank him (or snog him, whichever is more fun.)

Thanks for the chapter and the update alert. I hope others who read will review so I can see more of this story.

Really love how Helena reacted. I don't think I could have held on as long as she did. I love that , albeit secretly, Sev's on the Nyxes' side on this one.

I'm right there with the laughing about Malfoy's butt head. The whole scene when Helena went to the office was not what I expected, and I'm sure it's not what Snape did either. I'm glad she could catch him off guard. I recommeneded your WIB story to a yahoo group. I hope you get some readers from that.

I have a freaking cold or something, so it took me a while to get through the chapter. Sorry, I wanted to give a great, elucidating review, but my nose is just about as sore as my brain right now.

Loved the way Nyx played Hagrid, and the respect she showed him. I don't think many people show him that much respect for his intellectual acumen. I love Hagrid, and I'm glad he decided to share his ideas on Scary Mary with her.

Snape is becoming intrigued. Good. He needs someone to make him want to survive the war. Here's hoping that someone will be Helena.

Yeah, your fic would be well-received on that community. We actually just started it, but so far, we've had a good response. OC's are always a tough sell because of the Mary Sue factor. Your Helena is definitely not a Sue. She's someone I'd want to know.

Well, I may be the only one reviewing, but I'm sure you have other readers. This site is notorious for not reviewing stories that don't have a great deal of smut. Don't know why.

I love the interaction between Snape and Helena. They are just so at odds with each other, and so perfectly matched in stubborness. Honestly, the way you write him, I can almost hear his voice. It's really lovely.

I also love Helena's character. She is forthright and pretty open. I wonder what Snape is thinking of her at this point. I'm sure it's not all twitchy irritation and anger. She has to have caught his attention simply because she's not really afraid of his reputation or his demeanor. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm glad that Helena won't be intimidated. I hate stories where people belly- up to Snape. The description of the bureaucrat was hilarious. I think there is a personality test that people have to take to get such jobs. If they are disagreeable, petty tyrants, and slow to comprehend, then the test says it's okay for them to work in the DMV, Welfare or any number of offices that will put their talents to best use. Thanks you for such a great mental image.

I do wonder when Helena is going to discover that Severus is suffering from PTSD, and what her reaction will be to him. He's a prime candidate for medication, as she has already observed.
