Now don't take this the wrong way but THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING WRITING YOU HAVER EVER DONE! Trains suit you apparently. Really, I love your way with words and descriptions and plot but this, this was everything and more. What a great in depth view of all of the characters, but of course, mostly Ron and Severus. You managed to make my heart ache. I'm so overwhelmed I truly can't even think of words to express myself. That sex scene was beautiful. Ron's singing and toothbrush and dancing was a welcomed vision. So many plot thingys which I hold and wonder about. The way you are able to invent magic yet make it true is fasinating. If giving you a long weekend helped produce this then by all means take your time on the next one, except I'm addicted and require Ron/Snape ASAP.

Aaahhhh! Finally - Love - it was a long time in coming but I'm glad to see Severus has broken free of his mental quagmire to see what is right in front of him. But is Ron truly happy without his family and friends?

What is it with the owls - I cried when I read about Hedwig's senseless death and now poor Pig - wrapped in a bag and pitched out the window - BIRD MURDERER!

I look forward and dread (love intended) the end.

Poor Pig - I think Ron, while understanding the need, will really miss him. It's the reminder of what he left behind. That, coupled with the letter, is going to hit him hard, and not only at that moment. Hence his neediness afterwards - he feels more vulnerable, and even believes that Severus has left him behind to die.

Severus here is perfect - he feels guilt so acutely through it all, knowing just how Ron is taking things, caring so much for his feelings. Until the letter, Ron had not been faced directly with all that he had left behind, and it's bound to have an impact on him.

And the scene in which Severus declares his love, and Ron accepts the flat as their home... *sniff* Awesome. Simply awesome.

PS: I read a fic, long ago, in which the author indicated, in the warnings the philias, the kinks, the postures... (and believe me, there are names for *everything*). I have forgotten most of all, mostly because they're really difficult to spell, least of all remember what they mean. I had to do google searches every time I read a chapter. Bradycubia is one of he very few I still remember. So, no shame here.

PS 2: Only one more post? I'm going to be really sad to see this fic end.

Ohhh. . . that was so romantic. Now I'm all ooey inside. Anyway, I was all up and down these last two chapters. Annoyed at Severus for being so down and hard on Ron and then overjoyed when they made up. And then I felt so bad when Ron came home in such a good mood only to find a letter from his Dad, a dead familiar and a disraught Severus. And I can't help wonder was there a tracking charm on the letter or a portkey or something equally as dangerous? I get the impression from the newspaper article that Arthur wouldn't do something like that to Ron, but who knows what others might attemp without his knowing. I feel bad about Pig though. Then I was worried when Ron was separated from Severus, but Severus came to the rescue and confessed his love and now I'm feeling in a happy romantic haze. :-)

yes the Mistress of surprises, you are. lovely job as usual! loved it to bits especially the slow love-making! that was just beautiful. I love both ron and snape in this, they are compatible opposites, i love it.

Lucky 101 - This was wonderful and thank you for letting Ron tell Severus what he'd like to explore - I think I held my breath for Ron as I read it - LOL. I just can't see this ending in only a few chapters **tears -

There's so much kink in fanfiction one almost forgets just how unbelievably hot something as bradycubia can be, especially when written so well. That sex scene was articularly hot (and touching, especially Ron's responses to it). I have re-read it several times already, because this time I couldn't wait after reviewing.

Severus is seriously lacking in empathy - something we have said since the first chapter. It isn't that he doesn't care, it is just that he doesn't know how to deal, and he didn't *allow* himself to care, but Ron is different, and he finds himself floundering, our of his depth. He' going to have it difficult, especially when Ron really starts to miss all that he has left behind.

PS: This chapter? The *whole* chapter? Shows why I have named you the Deity of Fantastic Characterizations. Ron has cabin fever, and Severus is apathetic, and they do not understand each other at all. And Claude the ghost is a very nice secondary character.

That was serious turn of events of which I'd never consider in a million years. Dumbledore baffles me; it seems he is not himself. Ron's 19 so I'm concerned that he's being seen as a young charge rather than an adult wizard by the Ministry. I liked Bridgette more this time around though the slap was a surprise. The hand holding was adorable. Changing their looks was a smart move but now their looks are so different I don't know if I can get into it. We'll see. I'm wondering what you'll do? Move ahead in the near future or the farther future or keep it in present time? Hope your footsie is better after hitting it on the doorway. Enjoy your long weekend.

You don't have to apologize. This was, in fact, a rather unexpected turn of events. I certainly did *not* imagine that they were going to elope to Paris and disguise themselves. I would have thought, at the very least, that Severus would refuse once Ron put himself into action. Of course, me, being not the Deity of Fanstastic Characterizations that you are, had not taken into account the effects of the bond between them, specially the restrictions it imposes upon Severus. Of course Severus would go along to protect Ron, his very nature demands it.

As for Dumbledore's decision: the thing is, it could have happened. Protecting the school's reputation seems important to him. What happened to Severus with that 'prank' about a werewolf showed it. It did not look like Sirius was punished accordingly to the consequences it could have had, and it only ended with Severus with a life debt, a promise not to tell anyone, and Sirius relatively unscathed. Sirius might or might not have realized the consequences, but still, it is a point very open to discussion. However, I must ask: is there something instigating this response? An outside influence of some sort?

Their future seems completely obscure, with no point of reference now: what will they do, what will they work at, how are they going to cope without their magic or their past - and just how strong is it going to affect Ron once he realizes that he's virtually family-less and friend-less?

You do know how to go out with a bang, don't you? You have all of us hanging here.
