Your grammar is weak at some points, and downright confusing at others. Otherwise, it is quite sound.
I must say that for an entire story to be written in the present tense is quite a unique way to write. You slipped a few times and reverted to past tense. You managed to pull off something that most authors would fail at spectacularly.
The characters are most often than not in character, though the small lapses do make them seem more human. It's quite pleasant, actually.
