Of course, thank you again for another great update. When you said, "Harry keeps ending up a bit more angry and mean than I intend..." I laughed a little, because when I wrote my first story I had no plans to make Ron as belligerent as he became, so I know what you meant. lol I completely believe in you; you'll get it straight. :-) I do feel for Hermione though, her "friends" aren't acting very much like friends and her pain comes through clearly. Draco was utterly perfect in this chapter, too! Thanks. I look forward to more as soon as you can get it online. :-) HG4eva

I've only read one or two other fics that my friend recommended but they were from Pirates of the Caribbean and Alice in Wonderland. One day I had too much time on my hands during my maternity leave, and happened upon this site. I've always loved Draco and Hermione's contrasts in the books so naturally I wanted to see if there were any good stories about them. ^.^ It makes me so happy to have found your fic first, it got me hooked on DM/HG fics.

as for the review - I'm on the edge of my seat, waiting for a real lovey heart to heart. I was so wrapped up in the dance, I forgot about Pansy having a real part in the story so I was surprised and happy to read how emotional she was... and could she REALLY have a thing for Ron?? hmm...I like.

This story is really going great so far. I'm enjoying every minute of it, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out =D

Wow, the story just keeps getting better. I feel bad for Hermione since she's losing people she loves, and they won't even try to understand, but at the same time I'm loving all the drama. You should seriously think about publishing an original book. I'd be at the bookstores standing in line for three days straight to get the first copy. XD I loved Draca's point of view, it was funny, you really captured his character. Can't wait for the next chapter ^-^

Yeah an update! I get so excited when i see you've updated! Another amazing chapter so sumptiously described! Seriously i want Draco (the one i have visioned in my head thanks to the picture you paint with your descriptions!). I think it's interesting how you've let Draco see the 'darkness' in Harry, the way i see Harry's reasoning for being so mad with Hermione is because of their history with Draco and because in a world where Voldermort is beginning to take hold, that he must feel Hermione turning to Draco for comfort is a huge traitorous act to him and because he's gripping tightly to the shred of normality which remains in the life that he knows, before he has to face his destiny...I apologise for waffling on but your attention to detail and the relationships is incredible. Now Draco's really allowing the painful truth of his relationship with Hermione to surface, that they are on different sides... as of yet...I can't wait to read more!!!!!

Well, that was just lovely, sweet and wonderful and then terribly angsty and painful, wasn't it? lol Neither of them got a break in the end. Whew! You took them (and me) through a maelstrom of emotions in one chapter. Brava! But, man did you make me dislike Ron (again) and wonder seriously about Harry's mental health. Methinks he needs to look up "friend" in the dictionary and possibly see an exorcist. :-| Poor Ginny, how she manages to stay sane with him is beyond me. Man, I hope Draco and Hermione both can find a way to get over this disaster of an evening. Maybe it's time for the "L" word to come out and soothe some pain... :-)

Loved reading things from Draco's side, seeing his reactions, knowing his thoughts, hopes and dreams. Certainly already knew his desires. LMAO Glad he liked that she got on with his friends and showed no hint of jealousy towards the boys flirting with her. As for Pansy, I'm still leaning in the direction fo feeling sorry for her. I think, far too late perhaps, she just realised that she cared about Ron and by all appearances, it seems that he was quite taken by her, too. I know this is a Hermione / Draco story but I'd be interested to see how things turned out for the two of them. Love Ginny coming in to protect her friend even if she had to go against the one she loves to do it. Love that Gryffindor loyalty coming out. Once again, an amazing and enjoyable chapter. And I do hope that Millie makes another appearance, I love her candid, no holds barred attitude. Well done! :)

Oh wow!!!! I love how this story is coming along - first Draco/Hermione fic I started reading. It's really great and I can't wait to read what happens next!
