I LOVE IT. Had I been aware of this since you started writing, your reviews would not have decreased at all!
I'm pretty new to Draco/Hermione, but this is one of the best I've read so far, so pleased don't get discouraged!

9: Ooh, I can't wait to see how the party goes. Yes, I agree with Draco...forget about those two. (Sorry, I haven't been reviewing...I read a lot of fics on my phone nowadays and reviewing is difficult on my phone, won't let me sign in. I think it's because the phone I have is a bit old...) Anyways, great chapters!! =D

Hey there! No reason to think anyone's been put off, I don't think. I know personally I've had so much going on that I've only been able to read on my iPhone. With that as the only way, there hasn't really been a chance to review, as I can't stomach the thought of typing all of this in a text like fashion. lol No, it's been wonderfully great as usual. I really enjoy that neither of them has actually said the l word, even though they both feel it and think it, and even slip sometimes (Go Draco!). :-) I also love how protective he is of her and how she leans on him when she needs to do so. I LOVED Ginny's reaction, as much as I disliked Harry's and Ron's. Pigheaded prats! I look forward to reading Draco's reaction to her costume (and finding out what it is), and to seeing everyone's reactions to the two of them at the ball. You've set it up really well. :-) Please update again soon. Thanks! HG4eva

I love where this story is going! I can't wait to see what Pansy has planned for the dance, am I correct in thinking that she may well be the one who is humiliated rather than draco??
Update soon!!

Hee. This is a cute story. I liked it as a one-shot and I like it now as a chaptered story. And the fact that Ron is (evidently) pissed off at Hermione for being with Draco is just hilarious, given who he appears to be infatuated with...

Ron has been what I would have expected of him. I think it's kind of funny that Hermione didn't notice about his girlfriend nor care. I'm guessing his ego will be sorely bruised and that he will try to make her quite uncomfortable. She probably should have just said she was dating Draco and not given him the ammunition, eh? Looking forward to the dance.

I'm so glad to read more of this! What a little teaser you left us there with, I'm now dying to find out all the juicy details of the ball. Oh, and I hope Ron gets his mystery woman who, by the sounds of it, is a sexy Slytherin! Just an interesting thought...
Can't wait to read more! Happy belated Halloween!
P.S. sorry for the lack of feedback, I'm quite happy with how it's progressing, I just haven't checked this site in a while. I had a nice multiple-chapter surprise waiting for me!

I know my preference in any of the stories I read is plot over smut, though it being seasoned with smut always makes it more delectable. :D That being the case, the necessity of actually moving the plot along may make some of your readers 'bored'. I like the rate of plot exposition in this one, and also the character exploration you've done, both in Hermione and Draco. From the conceit of using a confection to further a simple one-shot, I can say that I have appreciated how you've developed your ideas. The Head Boy/Head Girl scenario always provides for built-in conflict and the opportunity for character maturation, usually on the part of the Head Boy. I always find that to be fulfilling. I don't usually like to tell authors how to write their stories, other than to say my preference is for Hermione not to be put positions of physical jeopardy for too long, and that I prefer happy endings, where they end up together, and alive. :D Other than that, it's really your show, isn't it? :D
