Thank you so much for another brilliant update. This is such an emotional story, you never fail to bring tears to my eyes. At the same time I sense the glimmer of hope that Hermione will be able to go on, to find some happiness one day in the future (said happiness will of course be connected to Sirius:-)). She was way to nice to Harry though, how dare he claim that he has in any way suffered? Oh, I don't doubt that he was upset and hurt when she was taken, but to say that he has suffered in Hermiones company is more than bad taste, it is a total lack of manners, emphathy and any inkling to what real suffering is. And then to send his wife to treat her? I can see that he thougth it a good idea for Hermione to be treated by a friend, but to throw a wife in her face? A proof on that he not only quickly moved on, but that he gave up on her? That the lifeline that she klung to, the hope that Harry would save her, never existed at all? Nope, roasting above an open fire would be to kind of punishment for him.

Your writing really takes me in, feeling what she's feeling, just so powerfully done. Thank you so much for the update.
Am appreciating now the brief glimpses into where she might have been for those years, and what she might have been put through, without having graphic details. Very well done.
