I absolutely love your story! Aside from the brilliant freaking fuckscenes, the writing itself is overwhelmingly fantastic. There are moments that I stop and think, goddamn, now how long did it take to write *that*? The slow dwindle of Ginny and Draco's relationship culminating with "Two weeks later, Draco left," describes in a very visceral and minimalist way how all the little things add up to this one larger action. How it's seen from one person's view and still doesn't quite make sense. How all the love can still be there, but there's something greater beyond for one or both persons. I love it. I absolutely love it. This is everything that I look for in writing and reading and consuming fanculture. So, bravo. You've got something to be proud of here.

Wonderfully thought out and in character, the changes in both Ginny and Lucius are trails that are within what we of them as people within cannon and you handled the transformation of who they are as people and as a couple beautifully. I very much enjoyed reading this. You took a hard couple to pull off and did it very very well.

Now because I am under the firm belief that rare or underwritten pairings need all the support and reviews they can get, I've decided to review this story despite the fact that it

I love you and your way with words. It's like your writing style is heroin and I'm hooked honestly. Thank you for sharing your lovely stories. I wish you had more that I could read since I've enjoyed all of them greatly. xx

I just finished this story. I read it without pause so I wouldn't miss anything. This was really lovely. I love your writing style, it's descriptive without being overtly purple and without being confusing for the brevity. Really wonderful. I'm off to read some more of your work.

I don't even know where to begin expressing how I feel about this story and the emotions it elicits in me. I think I can write a thousand words and cry a thousand tears solely about the feelings of sheer joy and happiness. The kind of love, passion, warmth, closure, and wholeness that you wrote about - it's difficult to keep it all in my head at the same time.

It's just such an...honest tribute to what being in a relationship and in love really is. Parts of this were hard to read because things that you had Lucius say have been said to me in the past. When art imitates life so perfectly and beautifully that you can hear someone from your own world speaking the words on the page - that is flawless writing. This is so bittersweet and so seamlessly complete that I cannot think of a single thing that is left unfinished about this story.

I can only imagine that you must have poured parts of your own life and your heart into writing this. The characters were perfectly...in character and the end was breathtaking. Thank you so very much for this honest, clever, witty, soulful, passionate, and warm story. One can only hope to someday find a love like that.

I don't review often, but it would be a crime to abstain from commenting on this.
All the best,

Lovely closure to an engaging and enchanting story. This is the only LM/GW story I've read through to completion as the pairing doesn't usually work for me. But you brought them together in such a realistic and thoughtful manner that I was compelled to follow through. Thank you for sharing. Cheers!

can I just say, that this is THE best fiction I have read on here in ages. I found it earlier today and spent four hours reading from the first to the thirty-ninth chapter. I have fallen in LOVE with your writing style and the way you have stuck by the characters and the events in the book. There was none of that bullshit amnesia or convenient forgetting by anyone involved. The books had repercussions on the characters! It was AMAZING. The only complaint is that magic is not involved enough - they have been very focused on fixing issues by the muggle standard as opposed to a flick of a wand which I am sure they are both fully capable of in their magical intelligence! But other than that I was very impressed, you have given me a new pairing to enjoy! I am normally inclined towards Severus and Hermione pairings =P but all in all well done, and please do update soon, you have me hanging!!! xxx

Okay, so start with answering my previous review ... that was the favorite at the time because I was loving the detente you've had Lucius and Hermione reach. Neither is budging, but Ginny's in the middle, so they'll deal. Your interactions between them are delightful, and I enjoyed seeing Lucius and Ginny together through Hermione's eyes. Very sweet.

That can't be the favorite anymore because this chapter blew it out of the water. Kind of freaky to me that you've managed to somehow put into your story in such detail my own fantasies of how a perfect man in perfect love would react to such a cataclysmic moment. (And no, my husband never even came remotely close, not once. Reality bites. LOL) It was just beautifully played out, even if it was on the bathroom floor.

Particularly what I love about your writing is your physical detail. Everything is spelled out with such clarity, little things that most probably wouldn't think about or notice, but your meticulousness in description just makes it all so vivid. Like Draco's physical reaction when he first hears of the pregnancy ... the hands run through his hair, yes, every Draco story has that moment, but you make it that much more with the detail of it. (For what it's worth, small typo there, too, because you have his hands over his "hand" instead of "head" at one point there).

Lastly, perfect choice, absolutely perfect, to have Lucius' response to Molly be from the perspective of parent-to-parent, rather than the obvious concerned-boyfriend-to-mother-of-girlfriend. Absolutely perfect; he hit her where it would hurt her most, where it would get the deepest reaction from her. And also the moment of quiet, affectionate connection between them at the tree was lovely, rather than the more obvious stalking off in a huff/fury that a lesser writer would have done. :-) Again, detailed so beautifully that I can see it as I read it, so clearly. Beautifully thought out and written.
