I was absolutely blown away by this story. What an amazing job you did capturing the emotion and deep connection of a D/s relationship. I couldn't get enough.

I love this story. I love all your stories. But I like how this story is some-what cannon, it can fit in with HP sans Epilogue and part of DH.
Anywho, I must say, it feels a bit rushed or not quite finished.
I'm not sure what reviews you received, but never believe that your stories are anything short of spectacular.
Your always a favorite with me, I like to wait till I know the story is finished before I start to read them, because I hate waiting. I am too impatient for you stories.
Between you and Ms_Figg, you make the drudgery of everyday life interesting.
I can't wait for another story!
All the best,
Elaine

Thank you very much for this story. I only found a couple of days ago, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the fact that you took a deeper look into a dom/sub relationship. It IS about more than just sex and I really appreciated that aspect of your story. I hope that you get some more positive support, and don't feel discouraged by the naysayers. (In fact, I'd love it if my husband took on certain aspects of the Snape role... ;) )

You know I think a lot of people who were upset over this story aside from being ignorant were probably intimidated by the mental aspect of the piece. Anyone in the D/s lifestyle would probably agree to a point that the deeper mental aspect is what really drives the relationship. It may not be overly explicit and full of toys and props but true forms of erotic control are the binds we put on ourselves through thought and action and I think that can scare a lot of people. Even if it's not what you normally put out I feel that it is still you as you've touched this material a few times before just not as emotionally deeply as you did this time around. Anyone can go to a novelty store and buy a blindfold, fuzzy handcuffs and crop and play games once or twice a month but to live it and breath it and to trust and give the trust and control that Severus and Herminone did with each other in this story is disturbing for people who don't fully understand or refuse to. Please don't ever give up writing such introspective pieces. I think it will help you evolve and grow as a writer and from the reviews I've read here, everone on this site loves your work. I know I said it in my last review but remember those who know the least, tend to know it the loudest. I wouldn't be me if I let others guide what they thought was me or what was acceptable for me to do or say or think or feel or express. Please don't let negative reviews ever get you down.

I'm so sad that this story has left you feeling jaded. I applaud you for taking your writing in a new direction...it helps you to grow as a writer experimenting with new ideas. Personally I really enjoyed reading this work of yours. I have been reading your stuff for eons! It is all engrossing and I appreciate that about an authors work. I don't always review as I read especially if the tale is really intricate, maybe I should have to encourage you! Sorry for my failure to boost your muse. I look forwards to your next work.....whatever it may be! BTW...a sequel would be smashing!

This was a wonderful story and a very good depiction of two people working out a fairly healthy D/s relationship. Everybody has their baggage. Sev has a full set of steamer trunks, but you gave him depth without being maudlin. Whoever gave you grief about this story probably had trouble with your subject matter more than your treatment of it. Keep writing. You have been one of my bookmarked authors for a while. I'll check back to see what you're working on again soon.

I don't review much (terrible of me, i know!) but i read all your fics with interest and have enjoyed this one a lot. I find the topic of D/s relationships fascinating, and love the way you have handled it. Also i think its very brave as a writer to take a chance on something different and you should try not to take the comments from people who don't like it to heart, although i know that's difficult. Anyway, it's been a wonderful read, and i can't wait for what you give us next.
