Got through the first chapter. Very nice! You would have to mention Sean Bean, wouldn't you? Now you've got my sexy British actors fetish all fired up.
I liked Ron's elf chain gift. As we all know, no matter how he tries to control it, Severus is extraordinarily possesive so that gift was very apropos.
I had to shake my head at the fight and how, even though he regrets it, Severus just can't help himself in hitting below the belt.
On to chapter two when these infernal migraines go away.

Oh I loved this first part. I agree I love all the characters and how they interplay with each other, but it's nice just see them for the most part together. I LOVE the idea of that bracelet. I've had thoughts (not a writer just read tons of fan fiction) of such a thing. Poor Ron and his ribs. I sure hope this bracelet has a great impact on the healing of the these two both inside and out. Off to read the next chapter.

Excuse me, but that end should come with a rating higher than NC-17 - seriously hot, the entire conversation. But what I liked best about this fic was, again, the absolutely wonderfully done characterizations. Their reactions are just so real, and they have foot-in-mouth disease, and they stomp off when so angry they can't even find the correct words, and they snarl out of pure frustration. And they get anxious, and their doubts and troubles still affect them.
I just love all the details, as you can see by my previous comments, including Severus's long, long hair (is it wrong of me?... Nah) and the fact that he feels guilty that Ron has aged way more than the only two years that have passed since the beginning of their relationship, and that Ron is aware that Severus has serious self-steem issues, and privacy issues, and all kind of issues that are not magically healed just because someone finally 'loves' him as he is.
Again, great, great, great work.
