Uh oh, I'm hoping that Draco doesn't try to start something with Hermione... she's Severus's... LOL.

Great chapter... loved how Sev apologized to Hermione. By the way, the nurse's name is spelled Pomfrey. Keep up the great writing :-)

Most interesting. Do continue. I liked the thought of Hermione at his gravesite...though, don't you think she would have found it a little odd that he had retrieved the stirring rods without knowing she had been there?
She left no other signs that they indeed were from her. So how would he have known to thank her without admitting that he had seen her leave them? Wouldn't someone like Hermione have thought to question that?
That's my only real issue with the story.
I do want to see where this ends up. And I do like your characterization of Snape. Quite fitting.
Cheers,

Let me start by saying welcome back! I'm excited to read the next two chapters!
Onto my review:
Chapter 5)
Pretty sad that Severus and Albus were feeling so bad, but they did deserve it in the end. It wasn't right what they did. The friendship between The Griffindors and Draco is refreshing, it's nice to see that he's grown up a bit and let go of pure-blood rhetoric. It's sweet to see such a gentle friendship between Hermione and Draco specifically. I would have expanded a bit more on their friendships and how they interacted in this chapter just to show how well they meshed and if they trusted each other.
Chapter 6)
Snape needs to realize the limits of his strength and recognize the fact that he needs more then just an assistant. It was wise of him to chose Hermione as his assistant for brewing, however treating her callously was wholly unwarranted and not appropriate to the conversation. I would have expounded upon what exactly was wrong with him and why he chose her in this chapter.
Overall, it was a great 2 chapters and I enjoyed reading them. I wish there were more to read lol.
Can't wait for the next chapter! Write again soon!

Bravo. I am enjoying this scenario quite well and am looking forward to the next installment. So, there are a few things I am wondering.
1.)If Dumbledore's death was all an illusion and the students are feeling a bit betrayed (which is only right), why don't they feel the same about Snape still being alive? How did he survive Nagini's attack? Was it planned? Did he know that the students were watching? Or did I miss that part?
2.) Also, I'm a little surprised that Snape would keep the stirring rods instead of try to return them. I only imagine Hermione would tell him to keep them, but still, I was surprised that he would just automatically keep them knowing that she had intended them as a symbol of appriciation, and farewell upon his grave.
Anyway, I love the story so far and am practically salavating while waiting for your next chapter.

I am really glad to see you haven't given up on this story, as I really do enjoy it. I like the quiet, thoughtful Severus and the slightly bolder Hermione. I look forward to seeing the cracks in his armor. :-) Thank you!! HG4eva
