Ohh they're finally realizing their magical compatibility. I can't wait to see how their relationship develops with the plot.
I'm also very intrigued with Dearborn and how he fits into the story. So exciting.

about #3...
1. Okay, you know what..Ron is a bad influence on Harry. If you're going to be
in reinforcement of ANY kind, then YES, you have to work hard. I hope Harry
realizes that in the future.
^___^ Buuuut, I get the feeling you will. Nothing like a so-called best
friend who'll almost get you killed, during Auror training, because HE
doesn't want to work.
2. Damn!!! You made me do the fan-girl SQUEEEEAL!!! :-D You made my dream a reality!!!
Even though, they weren't fighting together..yet..they DO have the makings
of the best Aurors together, once they get over petty differences. I can't
wait to see how you pull THAT one off.
Because of the simple fact, others have put together Harry & Draco as Aurors,
of course when Harry was an Auror already, BUT I hope to see you do a different
spin on it with this story.
As in...
''WHY would you put them together? and WHAT would be the benefit?''
3. Another thing, PLEASE tell me you have a Auror fight in the works, with
Harry & Draco side by side. Just give me that much...
Oh, by the way, just to let you know you're getting better & better at
doing action scenes and to think when you started, you didn't think you
could do it. :-)
Now if ONLY I can get you to do Quidditch. :-p
4. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm in favor of seeing the story
develop, before any premature 'sexual' encounters between the two young
men..and personally, you're pretty good at a ''Slow, simmering burn''
[or slash] when it comes to sexual attraction.
Keep it up. ^_^

Ooh well THAT certainly was an interesting chapter! I wonder where the dark magic is coming from! And the scene with Draco first catching Harry and Ron coming back drunk was certainly entertaining! =D

Oooooh! Lovely interaction between Harry and Draco, even if they were fighting dark magic at the time, especially the sunbeam imagery. That did make me smile. :)

Just wondering (because you must be getting sick of my abundant praise), if this is preslash.... are you planning on continuing this? Like, after you finish Soldier's Welcome, another story... like The Long-Desired series. I'd be interested to see what you would do.

Hahahaha! I loved all the different teachers and Harry's and Draco's opposite reactions to each one! when Harry liked one Draco disliked them. Although I have to admit Samwise is probably my favorite and I am curious as to which class they each do well in. Will I be surprised? ^.^ It was a hilarious chapter and well done! I cannot wait for your next update!
