Hmm...hmph...hunh! That was rather interesting.
I may have to reread it a couple times to get a complete
visual in my head. But, basically, what WAS it they were
doing?
If they weren't trying to drain each other's magic, then
were they trying to use/absorb the magic in the spells INSTEAD,
once they are released???

Oh. I completely adored this chapter. Harry is an absolute darling, and I have to say I derived a certain pleasure from having Harry ignore Ginny's obvious advances (obvious to him at least). I really can't wait to see Draco's side next chapter, if you'll cover it. I want to know what might be going through his head as Harry made his wish. Lovely job with this chapter.

about #27....
Well....that was a nice little look in 'the Slice of Life of Harry Potter.'
But, when I think about it, I get the feeling you were making a comparison
between life with Harry's friends & his life with Draco.
As if to say, Harry DOES desire what his friends have with each other and
he desires it with Draco. But, it IS kinda obvious when you think about
it.
Was that what you were trying to get across?

Great chapter. I love the gifts that Harry and Draco gave to one another.
"The words seemed to open a trap beneath him, so that he fell down and down and landed at the bottom of a pit with reality written on the walls" - awesome imagery! Nice that Harry finally realizes who he wants. Now the interesting part is what he's going to do about it!
