I spend the majority of your wonderful story feeling choked up and my eyes prickling about to cry. The thing is, your not writing 'oooh big long angsty scene' your writing a proper story with a plot, and the characters actions and reactions have been understandably extreme.
I do sympathize with Draco more, only because I feel he got the short end of the stick. And manipulative Narcissa is amazing. I love how even though she has Draco's best interest at heart she hasn't been overlooking Harry or Cassi for a second. So calculating, I love it!
OH! I love the Charlie side-story, please let there be a happy ending for Charlie (a happy threesome, perhaps?!) It was pretty heart wrenching for him to go through all of that and it makes more sense why he'd need therapy not solely for the loss of his leg but for the overwhelming guilt. He clearly doesn't confide in his family very often so since the 'breakup' he's probably just been surpressing his emotions.
Can't wait to read about Harry, Draco's and Cassi's big day out.
Oh - and seriously, Ginny is way to fickle it's unreal. Pre-wedding jitters aside she clearly wasn't meant to be with Dean. I do feel more sorry for Dean than Gin, but only because one minute they're planning the rest of their life together and next she's talking about her last boyfriend and how old feelings are popping up?! FICK-LE!
No, but seriously I love your story. I just like to rant about Ginny sometimes. ^__^

OOO! A wonderful update! Poor Charlie- I do hope that sonehow Charlie finds happiness- it may not be with Alex but I hope he finds someone- he deserves a happy ending too. I could actually see Charlie and Draco becoming great friends- maybe Harry worries there relationship is more and gets jealous. Also Narcissa was the highlight of this chapter! So cunning! She could always have a friends of Draco's- maybe you could bring Astoria into it who is now friends with Draco and Harry worries they are gonna get married.

I am so torn about this story. One hand I really want Harry and Draco to end up together but on the other hand, every time they seem to be making progress towards that resolution I get queasy and wish for Charlie! And I almost teared up at the Charlie and Alex part. You are so talented at creating palpable emotions with few words. And you are the first author to make me almost not want an H/D ending. Okay, I have come up with a solution to my dilemma (more like wishful-hoping on a shooting-star-type-thing): If Harry and Draco do end up together, have a side story with Alex and Charlie reconciling OR do a new Draco/Charlie story or both lol . Even a side note that just says "and Charlie lived happily and romantically ever after with..." will do. I just want Charlie to be happy! He came in less than halfway into the story and suddenly became my favourite (though Draco is a close second).

OMG! Such a great chapter. Harry what are you doing? He more or less remembers his life with Draco but now because of that stupid promise he made to Ginny (to never hurt or leave her again) it looks like they'll never get back together. I'm in two minds now about if I want them back together - the romantic side says yeah forget everything that has happen and let Harry and Draco get their happy ever after but the revenge side says make Harry suffer for what he has done to Draco. Can't wait to see what you decide. Poor Charlie and Alex - I feel really sorry for them. Hope they can work everything out. Can't wait for the next chapter. :)
