AWESOME. Normally I find crackfics lose their humour about halfway through, with this one I was still trying to save my ribs from breakage by laughter after the last sentence. Too bad you didn't include the Lavender/Hermione FACEDOWN at Ron's bedside, I would've loved to know what you'd make of that (in my opinion it may have been the best scene in the movie, Alan Rickman's face is absolutely -priceless- during Lavender's breakdown). But the Ron-open-wide-for-the-bezoar(or perhaps something else?) scene you put in was more than enough to make up for it.

Being awake at 3 am just got a lot more bearable, thanks :)

then i went and watched the movie. and then i reread your summary and laughed even more.

although i mindlessly adore alan rickman you are right: his 10 layers of robes and his goth make up can't really distract fro
the fact that he is not a malnourished academic in his midthirties. would you have liked tim roth better?
