Wow. Ron had better thank his lucky stars that Hermione let it go so easily. I for one am way excited about this story, I adore MLC fics....don't know why really, I've just always loved them. I can't wait for more!

This should be interesting. It's a more logical take on an MLC than most, and I do like your characterization of Hermione. Love the two wands thing, perhaps she can meld them into one with a double core? She is a genius, after all.

I just looooooove MLC'fics and you have been giving us a very interesting first chapter. I loved your twist with the test on who were suited for eachother, probably most because Ron and Hermione weren't suited for eachother:-))
So, Ron wants Lavender, that alone should show Hermione how unsuitable they were for eachother. I am pretty sure that no matter what, Ron won't take Hermione marrying Severus with good graces, so I hope you at some point let Ron overhear Hermione mention her wonderful lovelife with Severus (even if they are not suited, I always want HErmione to get some revenge over Ron....:-))

Well I am guessing that Lavender is a far more likely match for poor gormless Ron! I like this different twist on the Marriage Law thingy, great concept.
