for The Dream

I do like a good Lucius tale. My goodness, I could smell the burning houses and feel the bite of the wind on Leda's bare arms. This is the side of the Death Eaters that I try not to think about too much even though I know they were this bad and worse. You wrote the scene so vividly I wanted to duck and hide myself before they saw me (likely I would have been a reject, though, LOL, being old enough to have a grown son). I was very intrigued by Lucius' uncharacteristic(?) behavior in saving the sick young woman. I assume he sent her to hmmm, was it his own gates or was it Hogwarts? I'll assume it was his own home because Hogwarts would probably have been too far to apparate.

So many questions. What did Voldie's gang want with the Dursleys? I'll hide my eyes at what probably happened to those young women. Why did Lucius single Leda out and take a risk of getting into trouble himself? If he sent her to his home, wasn't Voldemort headquartered there? Was the mongoose Lucius' patronus? Was it ever established that he had one? Fanfic loves to give Lucius a white peacock patronus, but I don't know if that is fact or not. This Lucius appears to be somewhat merciful and not a heartless, degenerate villain. Big sigh of relief.

It feels like there could be more to this story. My muse disappeared for awhile on the story I'm now posting and I got stranded. It took a while to get back on track, but of course that story is finished now. I can't tell if any of your other stories have Lucius as the protagonist. With the amorphous section the OC stories are now stuck in, it's impossible to tell who the pairing consists of if it's not written in the summary.

Wonderful writing with great descriptive detail. Wow.

Oh do continue writing this. Severus may be my one and only love, but Lucius is a very close second. I love stories where Lucius has an inordinate amount of power over his partner, and in this case, he certainly does. I love how Lucius has a 'compunction' to save her, an impulse, a whim to spare her because of an unwanted measure of guilt. I'm quite excited for what's to come.

Thanks, Bea. I will be coming back to this one because I am loving Luscious too... and Jason Isaacs for that matter. In fact, I have to get my hormones out of La Bibliographe's stuff so I can finish these Snape/OCs of mine. Then onto this one, so stay tuned. I do give updates if you want to leave me your email on LJ. I'll hit you up.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I have a couple others to finish yet, but the Muse is pushing me to make more of this as well, so never fear, there will be more. Eventually.
