It didn't really feel like Snape to me. He's far too ambitious to fantasise such mundane images. And he's not nearly that forgiving.

Now that was not writing, that was poetry. Image after image, rhythm building straight to his climax, the climax. And so so true to character. Well done, lady.

Beautiful story. I think it's how their life together would have ended, not a great romance for the ages, but just normal everyday stuff, eating away at them.
