Since Draco is considered dead he can't get access to his money. That's odd to think of Harry as the affluent one.

An excellent chapter! I just loved how most of it was slightly pointless (no offense intended) but still priceless; such as Harry buying Draco's robes and the Burrow scene which could have been left out (though I loved it and I'm glad it wasn't). The best part of all this was just being able to see Harry live, now that he's mostly back to his normal self. It's so satisfying to see him laugh and smile.

I'm very excited to see the two combine their magic again and work to take down a Dark creature. And also excited for the smut, of course :D Great job!

Wow! I didn't see that coming! I honestly was not expecting more smut than the bits you usually gloss over when Draco feeds and I didn't mind not expecting that, which is a very high compliment in my books xD To have me so swept up in the plot and character developments and conflicts and everything else that I'm not expecting smut, which I'm ALWAYS expecting while reading at AFF--that's an accomplishment. Well done! And well done with the smut scene too, by the way ;) I never thought sex with a vampire could be so hot.

My favorite part of this chapter was the bit when Draco first woke up and he and Harry were having a simple conversation (albeit with some intimacy interlaced). I just loved the easy interaction there while they conversed about Harry's future, had a few laughs, and shared some of their feelings. It was very refreshing and very well-deserved after all they've been through. I'm really enjoying the dynamics between them (not that I haven't enjoyed it from the start).

And speaking of Harry's future, it'll be interesting to see Harry and Draco working together to hunt other kinds of Dark creatures. Even though I'm not sure you'll take the story that far. I've found that I'm never quite prepared when you end a story. I always get so caught up in the tale I just expect it to go on forever.

Great job, and I'm satisfied enough by the ending of that chapter to wait patiently for the next ;)

I think for a brief second I had a 'Hallelujah' moment. O_o

Harry has FINALLY come to terms with his situation and is
going to let his feelings surface and take a leap off the
razors-edge.

It's not a relationship, but at least, it has the makings of
becoming a beautiful friendship..with perks. :-)

..and it would be interesting to see how the magic works between
them [I completely forgot about that].

I take it we have 2 more chaps. after this?

By the way, what DID happen to Draco's parents..and will Draco get
more clothes?

Excellent chapter! I particularly enjoyed the moment where Draco 'crowded' Harry to get closer to him because of Harry's good mood. I hope for Draco's sake that he gets to see that more often considering how happy it makes him, and of course Harry too.

I think my favorite thing about this story is how every step forward Harry takes happens for a legitimate reason. He agreed to let Draco drink his blood because he could see Draco cared about him. He agreed to let Draco live with him because Draco proved he would burn for Harry. And now he's allowing himself to grow closer to Draco because Draco was able to put his pride aside to help repair Harry and Ron's friendship. It's not just like "over time Harry grew to love Draco". That's what I like best.

I'm excited to see how their relationship will progress after this! Thanks for the awesome update :)
