I have never commented on a piece of writing on this site until now. You are absolutely fantastic. January was touching, heartwarming, and bitter all at once. Your writing is seamless and more than once I paused while reading to note that. It has a unique voice, a good flow, and doesn't distract from the story by being too flowery or too brief, finding a perfect place between the two. I'm shocked this does not have more reviews because it was a beautiful story. The epilogue had me staring at the computer screen for minutes. You made me ship Remus/Sirius as well as Remus/Severus. Please don't stop writing. I really think you ought to have a career in it. And keep in mind I rarely gush like a school girl unless I'm thoroughly impressed by story and writing. KEEP WRITING! :)

Another little tidbit from my friend that I'm having go through your master list of fics-- I've been pushing this one forever since I love it so much, but she doesn't always have the time for multi-chapters:

"Ps, I read January by starstruck yesterday and it was soooo good."

I'm not a big fan of the "adult" characters but this was excellent. The Marauders were exactly as I pictured them. And Snape...my fav no matter how old he is! Time to read the followup - Great job!

fabulous story (: loved how intricate and complex you made it. and the layers there was to the story. wished you could have gone with alternate reality and have a happily ever after :p hahaha. but then that's my own longing for happily ever afters. WELL WRITTEN! x

This was really a great story! I loved how you wrote all of the boys and I thought you ended it just beautifully. I do hope that you write a sequel. Thanks for posting such a lovely fic!
