This is a wonderful story. I can't wait to read more.

I think that might be the perfect place to end it, really. It fits so well with the characterizations you created, as well as with the pacing and feel of the story. I, for one, wouldn't cae if Fudge ever came out of hiding and we know they will have their happy ever after, now. Don't care if it was AU and OOC, I liked it.

Three weeks later the Ministry of Magic officially announced that it was abandoning the Marriage Law. Several members of the Wizengamut council agreed that the threats to society were too much of a risk.

“Do you want a divorce?” He asked quietly.
“No.” She let the tears fall and looked up at him. His face was just as sad as hers. “I don’t want to divorce. I am happy……” He stopped her with a kiss.

Severus, for all his antisocial behavior in public, was a cuddler in his private life. He loved to be held while they had sex, he loved to be kissed, and touched and she obliged him.

That was just perfect!

What are Severus' rules on being with Hermione?

Glad the pair is protesting the Law. I'm worried about young witches, especially Muggleborns, who would be caught up in it and don't have the financial resources to escape the country. Will Sev and Hermione come with an underground railroad for them?

I will admit that this is a very AU-setting, but then again; this is fanfiction and every author has the right to make his or hers own versions of the plot. I do like it though; among all the angsty SEveruses it is nice to read a more relaxed Severus. There are some minor spelling/wording issues, but not so much that it was annoying and I am very much looking forward to read more!

Good chapter, really showed the strength of their relationship and how Sev is willing to defend it.
