I thought I'd see what you were talking about in your review of my story. In this one-shot you've condensed the anger and fury of the trapped couple, especially Hermione very well. (I really do wish, though, that she had at least managed some type of hex on that nasty Rita Skeeter, darn it. I'm a little bloodthirsty, I guess.) Their entrapment is explained in the Marriage Law and we move right on to Hermione preparing for her wedding and Draco being adult enough to try for peace and maybe even happiness in their forced marriage. Their mutual jolt of awareness whenever they touched bodes well for the wedding night. That is some sizzle. This is one format I probably couldn't do well - the one-shot that covers a stretch of time. I always want to unnecessarily fill in every in-between detail so the one-shot becomes a tome. Yet you led us believably from Hermione's first shock and Draco's horror (the mismatched shoes were great), to their hesitant agreement of a lifetime's connection, which the reader understands to be just the beginning of something very special, even if the couple is still somewhat unaware of it. A very nice oneshot. I liked the open-ended nature of the ending...so many possibilities. :D

I love it! You've given a whole new angle to the marriage law. I also love the way Draco was in this story. It's hard to go too deeply into a character in a oneshot, but you've given a great insight into Draco, and Hermione in fact. Brilliant!

Love it, but hey this needs a sequel a little longer w/kids and with love, passion and smut...LOL A girl could wish and I smell a beautiful story behind this....

I loved it, Hermione appearing in her pjs to kill Rita had a good laugh at that, its a great one shot would love to see how it all ends up...

That was sweet! I had to chuckle at Hermione's threat of repeating her revenge from fourth year at Rita Skeeter! And at the end, well I though it was perfect.

LOVERLY....I loved the umph of the beginning, the quiet solitude of the middle and the hopeful note at the end. SIGH!
