Offer her the chance to spank him back, of course! You KNOW she would just have to start asking questions, she can't help it. LOL. Maybe he could explain that he really is interested in pleasure and with her, it might give a bit of more common ground?

Unfortunately, he needs to really talk to her. She is unsure of herself and is therefore lashing out at him. He did describe her well, she's too passionate to just walk away. But really, unwilling, grudging sex is not as fun as both of them getting into it. He thinks she should be grateful to him, but he's not.

Hi there. There only thing I can think of is for him to actually say some of the things he's thinking. But, unfortunately, neither of them is really ready for that. lol In this case, I think it will have to be Hermione who finds it in herself to WANT to better understand him. She's the lion backed into the corner in all this, so it will take her own bravery to force him to be more honest, see her as a capable adult, and learn how to relax some. But, hey, that's just my opinion. lol You're doing a fantastic job with the story, so just keep doing what you're doing and I will keep reading and enjoying! :-) Thanks, HG4eva

This was a good chapter. I guess the last one was so upsetting b/c there had not been any affection to balance it off. He's not even trying to woo her and he doesn't seem to care for her at all. To me, Lucius hadn't given much of anything to Hermione. Yes, she has a room, but he hasn't sacrificed anything for her. What concessions has he made? She's made all of the sacrifices and he'll be the one to reap the rewards. I still feel like they need to talk. Yes, Hermione has a viper's tongue, but Lucius did force her into this marriage which makes him the villian and he constantly criticizes her. She only has his company b/c he's cut her off from the world and constant criticism seriously wears one down. I wish he would explain why he is teaching her the things he is. Plus, he hasn't even asked her if she is willing to play the dutiful wife for him in his very prejudiced world and attend tedious functions. Plus, he sees her as less than him b/c she's a muggle born. That's the worst part. I look forward to their progress.

Jeeez Lucius is a real bastard, he should get real I guess. Poor Hermione., having to live with him. And the stupid thing is that they both believe the other to be wrong., poor them,. Can't fwait for an update !!

I'm sure this is no surprise to you! I loved Chapter 10, it was very, very hot and I was pleased to see Lucius re establish balance to their relationship. I wonder if Lucius understands what situation he and Snape have put Hermione in. I also wonder why Hermione won't just tell him in plain words so Lucius' little cat brain understands completely. I think that in and of itself would put Lucius in his place. Perhaps not. But it would be fun to see. Thanks for another chapter!

Another excellent chapter! I hope that we eventually get to see Hermione enjoy the "corporal punishment" that Lucius is so fond of himself. Let's be honest, I would let that man do pretty much whatever he could dream up to me, and gladly! *drool* Let's hope Hermione begins to realize and revel in all of his delicious (and kinky) traits (while still not forgetting about his rather dubious....and admittedly, still delicious, ones as well)
