You're right, there was some affection on his part and I thought of that later, too, but I still need to see some more caring from him. Maybe if he had admired her for a long time before forcing her into marriage, this would be easier, but she's a means to an end. He said horrible things to her before the marriage. And he sees her as inferior b/c she's a muggleborn which really really bothers me. I am on the same page as Amsev and Yule. I am trying so hard to enjoy this b/c I am also a fan of yours. When you said there would be no lemons in this chapter, I was honestly hoping that he would offer to forgo sex until he's shown a bit more care towards her. I usually am totally into BDSM stories, but I don't like that he's kind of forcing her into the sex intead of seducing her into it. I really hated the spanking b/c it was for his pleasure, not hers, and so he would hurt her then and not while having sex! That bothers me so much! I would so be out of there, too, if I were her. I'm glad you wrote that he is going to rethink what he wants from her, but at the same time all of this has been about what he wants. I honestly want Hermione to tell him she will go to Azkaban and give him a wake up call. I want Severus to suffer too for coming up with this idea!

Chapter Twelve: Oh I

Yay for new chapter!!! Loved chpts 10 and 11. Especially the bantering between Lucius and Hermione. And that in chpt 11, Lucius wanted Hermione to spank him some more. Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

ch 12 - I'm glad they're both talking openly here, even that line about his DE past. Good sign! Thanks for the new chapter, and I'll be looking for the chain/collar thingie next update.

I like that you have a whole chapter of plot along with some delicious teasing. All smut all the time, is nice lol, but Lucius and Hermione are very intelligent and you weave such intricate plots, it is enjoyable. You do such a great job of making Hermione and Lucius your own, while keeping some of the book essence. That is a very hard balance and you do it very very very well. I personally think that your plots are intricate and well thought out and the smut is like harmony to the plot melody if that makes any sense. Once again, a great chapter and I cannot wait to see what situation you make them face next.

Chapter 12: Oh good, no yellow **cringe**. Well it certainly seems like Lucius has no qualms about using his beauty to sway Hermione. He knows he is attractive and knows that it will be a tool to use in his favor with her as she cant seem to help herself. Haunted by a single, involuntary encounter with a crazy witch eh? Interesting...I hope that Hermione can replace that rather disturbing, though obviously for Lucius an itriguing exchange. Though the question is, if it was a potion/drug induced orgy, how reliable is said memory? How much has be inflated or exaggerated the event? Time will tell I am certain =)

Well, Even though I think it's in part a bit of vengeance, I vote for B) an unrecognized streak of licentiousness. lol The best part of this chapter in my opinion was them both figuring out a new way to deal with the other. His understanding FINALLY that maybe he needs to let go of some of his old ideas, and hers to not COMPLETELY rile him, were a huge step forward for both. Deatheater orgy...ewww! ha ha The taste of what's coming in the next chapter was, um....nice (hot!!!) and I look forward to her jumping in with both feet on her decision to enjoy his body. lol Thanks hon! I look forward to the next update. ;-)

Lol. When I read your stories I'm always keeping an eye on the scroller, because in my head I keep thinking "No! There's only half a chapter left" or "Oh no! this is the end. Nooooo!". I really wish there were someway for me to break into your computer and just read this story from beginning to end. I hate the end of your chapters! And it's not even because this one is a cliffie. I just hate the chapters ending period! And I absolutely looove this story :)
