I admit, I started getting antsy when you hadn't updated on Friday. Scary Bear Hair surmised Lucius had probably tied you up and that was why you couldn't get to the computer to update. Whatever he did obviously worked because the lemons were amazing!

i think that some one needs to lock them in a room and give them some truth serum. maybe a certain potion master?

that being said, this story is excellent. i like that lucius isn't the whipped puppy that he is in most, and that hermione isn't a pushover either (and isn't all knowing).

Chapter Thirteen: While I do find Lucius and Hermione's 'prejudices' and 'misunderstandings' endearing, I still want them to sort things out. I like it when everything comes together in the end, provided the beginning and middle are fraught with bitterness and conflict and witty exchanges. And you do all those things wonderfully. *smiles* And I'm happy to defend a fellow writer and friend, LaBib. Especially when she is being unjustly persecuted. But I don't feel too sorry for you. With three hundred reviews, perhaps the select few that are unfavourable serve to keep you grounded. ;-) But I know how they can smart, LaBib, so I'll lend you my new jar of numbing cream (this stuff is miraculous).

Lemons. What can be said about lemons? Yes, for one thing. *laughs* Your lemons are particularly enchanting. There is something about the way the words flow and come together that makes your sex-scenes so believable. There's a cadence, a lyrical quality that touches the words. It's difficult to describe... In any case, this scene was divine. I have a feeling that sex for Hermione and Lucius will be both common and battle ground, if that makes sense. When they lose themselves in the moment, we're offered a glimmer of hope, but otherwise, sex is just another struggle. But there is promise, half-hidden behind layers of petulance and snarkiness. Just tell Hermione to stop moping...

This is such an interesting chapter. To a new reader, it may seem like straight lemons, but there is humor and they are starting to actually learn something. It is incredible how you were able to use the lemons to bring about more plot movement. After their, shall I say interlude, they both were thinking and maybe just maybe the start of the path to understanding. I know you have so much more to tell us about...Severus and Narcissa, the plan Lucius and Severus have, the financial piece and of course, more and more bumps for Lucius and Hermione on the road to the realization that they are perfect for each other. If you think about it, in your fic, they really are good for each other. He will not let her push him around and she challenges him on an intellectual as well as physical level. There are just so many levels to your stories, it is wonderful!
