I would say that the dynamic between Snape and Malfoy is what you would expect it to be if Malfoy had actually become human at the end. Snape seems as he would be in private, if you have ever been around people that have a public persona that is vastly different than their true personalities. Too bad that Malfoy does not allow himself to relax often (although him teasing the cat is pretty cute...don't tell him I said that he did something cute).
Something that has always made me wonder is, if Hermione always researches and learns what she needs to learn to accomplish what she wants, why did she not read an etiquitte book so that she was not put on the spot by proving to Lucius that Muggles have no class and have to be taught by their "betters". I have never understood that since she is such a priss. Love the story so far. p

Great premise, but I am not really fond of your Hermione (and I usually love her) because she does not stick up for herself at all. When you have her being used by LM and SS and disregarded by those that she fought to protect, she needs someone to be on her side. One expects no more from LM than what you get, but somewhere along the line someone could have been on her side. And shame on SS (again you expect it from LM) for not being up front with Hermione when her championing for inequities is so well known...she would have helped them willingly instead of being put in a situation that leaves her feeling alone and scared. that sucks. I am going to keep reading because I have read most of your stories now and hope that you will come through for her at some point (and I don't mean by her succumbing to their agenda while giving up herself in the process). p

I laughed, I cried, I got mad, I even got squicked by a few parts. All in all it was an amazing story! But I've never read anything by you that I didn't absolutely love! My one disappointment was that there was no picture of Lucius looking disheveled in teh delivery room, that would ahve been worth a million Galleons. :P I can't wait to read what you write next.

wondering why you didn't respond - did you find my comments offensive? if so, i apologize. they were definitely not meant to be.
hello labib, i've reviewed most of your stories in the past and read them all - i think i've already told you in a past review i love luci. you write him so well.
i thoroughly enjoyed this one, as expected. i love how hermione warmed up to luc ever so slowly and how luc was kept trying to "whip her into line" :) perhaps the only thing i frowned on was the explanation that she was a shrew to lucius due to the effects of the paper. wasn't the whole point that she was a shrew due to him? also, wondering: does canon hermione come off as a prude? practically all fanfic makes her a virgin or someone who is puritanical in her sexual views. does it spring from canon? aren't the quiet ones always the screamers? :)
btw, did you ever post all seven steps to seducing a slytherin? i think i missed some!
and finally, while searching for the seven steps, i read through your comments and came across one stating that "beyond the veil" was convoluted to write. really? didn't seem like it from my end. i found it magnificent and you asked the reviewer to comment on something specifically. well, if i may add my comments: what i liked about this story was the comraderie that sprouted between luc and herm. your plot (original and highly entertaining) forced them to work together rather quickly and luc in particular seemed to become accepting of hermione very realistically. of course i loved the sex scences but more than that, i liked them as a regent couple. hermione passed as quite the pureblood wife, didn't she?
ps - you do enjoy a good spanking, don't you ;)

Twisted, like always, and a thoroughly enjoyable read.
I'm starting to think of doing my own along these lines, but I'm a bit tired of the 'inexperienced Hermione' and 'debauched Lucius' angle. I'm thinking about turning the tables.
Let me know what you think, your opinion means a lot to me, privately of course.
I always love your stories, even if I don't agree at first. I never thought the pairing was viable until I started reading your stuff! Keep up the good work, and if you need to
talk, vent, bounce ideas off of someone experienced and twisted, etc, write me!

Aww... you finished while I was away.
I'm not quite sure I like the sheer Weasleyness of the Epilogue (somehow I never got the breeding vibe from either Hermione or Lucius), but the mental image of two retired DEs being groomed by a preschooler most DEFINITELY compensates for it. And I did sympathize with the delivery outburst... a bit. *clears throat* Yes... well...
Where are we headed next, oh lettered one?
