So much in two chapters. First, I'd like to lump the Malfoys with a good crack of their heads, together. I suggest forced confinement until they actually TALK to each other, not past each other.

And, you know me, I loved Narcissa forcing those two to relive their exploits. There's an imagine to warm up a snowy night!

What a delightful diversion after all the angst of the last couple of chapters. I never really thought too much about gay porn until I started reading HP fanfic just over four years ago and I have to admit my eyes were opened. I also have asked my husband to explain why men are fascinated by lesbian sex and his answer was much like the "boys". They just are! Some lovely banter and witty one-liners in this chapter and I have to keep the noise down guffawing whilst hubby's downstairs. Still not sure I'd be quite as calm as Cissy about her ex and present husband's sexual adventures with each other even if they weren't in control of the situation. But given that in the "Magical World" they can all make each other do things converse to their nature, I suppose it is an occupational hazard that can't usually be avoided. Thank you for still taking the time to reply to our reviews on your LJ. It's quite a joy to catch up with the story on a Saturday night especially after I've just learned that I've lost the lottery. I decided to happily review your story as soon as I have read all the chapters up to date :)))
First of all- amazing!!! I really enjoy your flawless style of writing, the internal thoughts of all charachters involved. I myself find that the Hermione/Lucius pairing is by far (exluding Voldemort obviously!!!) the most challenging to write due to the involvment of Draco as Hermione's own personal nemesis and the Death Eater factor of course.
What is more, I was also pleasantly surprised and delighted that you have made a number of comments linking the Malfoy family to the French aristocracy and descend! Are you by any chance French speaking yourself? I am myself as well :)
Keep up with the story and hope to see more chapters coming soon (I keep checking every day). In case if you wish to check up some of my stories, they are desplayed here as well under my nicknames: witch (I have not updated any of my stories for more then 3 years due to some major personal issues but now I am finalyl back in the game and just searching for a Beta!)

I KNEW he was at the Snape's house! lol Well, maybe if he faces up to her then they both can move on. Seems like his release of dark magic (still am not clear on the mechanics and whys of that) shocked and frightened him as much as her, so that's a good sign. It's kind of sweet how the Snape family looks after him. Hermione seems to have lost her external support network, so I'm wondering how he will help her with that.

Chapter 25:

Wow, there was quite a bit of introspection from both sides. It appears as if Hermione has had an epiphany where her husband is concerned. She knows she has tried to paint him as a monster and she has failed miserably. She can no longer fight her attraction to him and wants to be married to him. That green-eyed monster sure does bring out the worst in our girl! Will she be able to last through the two weeks of separation? Somehow, I think her research business may keep her busy during the day but the nights will have her pining for him. Will she somehow be able to be less vitriolic? Yes, indeed, LaBib. A time-out was definitely what the doctor ordered. You are still playing Devil's Advocate quite nicely as I'm still not sure exactly in the words of the illustrious Potions Master, "Where your loyalties lie!" Sorry! Saw a bit of the Philosopher's Stone on telly this afternoon. At least they are both analysing their own behaviour and prejudices and not each others for a change. Some unkind people may even argue that they are both so antagonistic that they are meant for and deserve each other. It does lie with Lucius in my humble opinion as the elder statesman to make allowances for Hermione's youth and inexperience. He should be more indulgent. He is lucky that Hermione is going to be able to compromise and capitulate to him. But...he is Lovely Lucius and if JKR wanted to preach to us that excessive beauty was ugly, she failed. You too are showing a flawed Lucius which is good as it emphasises his human side which at the moment is only really being shown in defence of his ex-wife. Let them make-up unconditionally. Let them see each others good points not just their failings. Let you tell me to piss off and you will do as you bloody well please as it's your story. Liked your comment about the incredibly still gorgeous Mr Rickman. Saw a photo of him at the late John Mortimer's memorial service and Jesus Christ he looked hot. I am sorry i didn't review the last chapter i just read them both i was at my parents for thanksgiving. I really like this story. I still want to hit them both but i think i will want to do that until the end of this story! I don't have any questions right now but i do wanna say i wish i was as good of a writer as you. :D

I'm always so terribly excited when I see you've posted another chapter. But I'm fearful that it's coming to a close. I hope not because I enjoy this story quite a bit.

Oh, and this is completely besides the point but while I was reading your story my media player had Dean Martin's song "Houston" playing and I thought it was rather fitting.
