I think even if Lucius hadn't been the reason for Severus falling into the clutches of Darkness he would have been done in by some other Death Eater anyway. But it would mean that Lucius and Severus probably wouldn't have tried to protect each other etc. and thus, they wouldn't be so close.

No blame was placed, but I wager that Dad felt bad. I am so turkeyed out. We had turkey again because we went to a party on New Year's day and someone decided to bring a roast turkey T.T

You know, it's not fair that she gets to cuddle in his lap...I want to cuddle in his lap. Lucius wants me! That was a lie...oh well...

That was amazing...I like Hermione trusting Lucius. Though, I must admit if I had been her, I would have been tempted to suggest that he could be 'stupefied' for the journey, and I would watch over him and make he didn't catch any plebian germs!

*Sighs* Now I must wait for more. *scowls miserably*

That was too cute! Lucius only snuggling when she's unconscious. Hermione's image of him would be shot if she knew he was a closet snuggler!!! It was good to see real affection, though. Two jumps forward this time.

Does he really like her that way? An unresponsive doll? I also thought about my last comment on Lucius' need to have some sort of understanding of others' feelings, but I agree with the answer you gave me. I'm a sort of idealist, and I tend to be naive about such things.

There I was, thinking I was safely set on the antisocial track once more and you just HAD to bring out the big guns... Once you're done with the story I'm printing out, framing, and hanging all the 'Snape Vs Malfoy' dialogues right in my office.

And... little green bows? Now, there's one image I'd pay some serious money to see. Please tell me photography is one of Cissa's lesser known hobbies, along with dishwashing...

Very nice LaBib. I didn't see that solution to Hermione's problem coming. I thought he was going to buy a Jag and they would take turns driving from Wiltshire to the Highlands. Mind you that woud have taken about seven or eight hours probably (or about three if my husband was driving his Jag!) I'm not boasting. It's not big and its not clever.....Still good to see that the boys are still on top bantering form. OK....good to know that we're still continuing into the new year. ch 30 - progress! I'm glad she trusts him enough to let him stun her. So, she doesn't realize he's a cuddler? Pity; cuddling is one of the best things in life. I hope he gets a new wand soon, as it would be very embarrassing to have the students see that he can't do spells quite properly. Thank you for the new chapter. Happy new year to you and yours!
