Oh dear! So it's Hermione and Lucius versus The Rest of the World. Susan was a bit of a bitch to both Narcissa and Hermione. She didn't seem to have too much trouble with Severus though. "OUR Professor Snape"....indeed! Still, I can appreciate where she's coming from. I always thought of Lucius in canon as being a bit Clintonesqe (my daughter saw him rallying for Hillary in Arizona the other year and thought he was fantastic and this girl has a thing for the gay Stephen Fry)......the Teflon Kid if you will. This was good! Lucius complaining about the teachers. And Hermione's reaction towards Draco coming to Hogwarts. I'm just wondering if Draco knows that his father married Hermione? Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Narcissa finally made me dislike her immensely. I don't believe any of her losses are comparable. Oh, well. Poor Hermione, stuck in a place that causes her pain, with people she doesn't like and the unstable marriage.

Having surgery on my shoulder in a few hours, but wanted to say I will still be here reading and enjoying, even if I can't review for a while. I am sorry Hermione had to go through that additional pain of losing yet another friend. I don't know how she's coping with no one to turn to, except people she still doesn't fully like or trust. Poor girl. And, now Draco on top of it all. Sigh... her pain just goes on and on, doesn't it? lol Until I can write again... Thanks, HG4eva

Ch 32:A sad chapter, in a way, but at least Hermione can see for herself the depth of the problem they face. Re: your answer to my review: I've done the usual; dorms, great hall, moving stairway, library (empty and during hours), Snape's classroom, etc. The wierd ones I'll keep to myself!

I don't like the sound of these new teachers. They sound blergh... :/ And Draco... not too sure about Draco. I hope he's not too much of an arse and Hermione won't have to hex him. Ok, maybe I want Hermione to hex him a little ;)

Poor Hermione :( When will she go and visit Harry and Ron etc.? I think she needs some more friends...

I don't know how Nacissa feels about Andromeda now but she also lost her niece and her cousin... sigh.

ch 32 - gosh, this chapter seemed sad and melancholy. Lucius and Hermione doing the walk around Hogwarts and thinking of sober memories, Cissa and Hermione being rejected by Susan Bones, Hermione's friends' reactions to her marriage... and they haven't even started looking for the baddies. I do hope Luna and Neville can help. Draco will behave, I think; he knows better than to mess with his father's marriage. Thanks for updating!
