Lovely chapter--yeah, the two ex-DE's would go berserk if Cissy or Hermione got hurt, though Draco would only freak if it were narcissa, I suppose. I loved the image of the teachers hanging from the ceiling from Sev's wards! And no, never did the owlery, but the stairs only once, just not published. I have several stories I've written for my own selfish enjoymeny, but I don't tend to post unless I'm satisfied I've got it right or at least to my own satisfaction (yes, Pun intended). I also have several different male characters used, depending on my mood. BTW, has anybody heard from Utopia lately? just curious.

Hiiyah loved the new chapter poor Narcissa. Severus should totally find the bitch that done it and give her a taste of her own medicine :) I would rather have Lucius comfort me as you can probably tell from my name i am obssessed with him and i think he is super hot Love Holly x

As always, great chapter. I like Hermione's independent mind, but I can understand where Narcissa is coming from. I would definitely want Lucius' comfort if I were in Narcissa's place.

Poor, poor Cissa. I understand the need to balance Snape's somewhat sour disposition, but did you HAVE to make her such a... Hufflepuff? :P
But it was fun watching your somewhat updated Hermione relapse into her Hogwarts days to champion the underwitch. The Malfoys... they always protect their own, even if the Snapes don't like it. ;-)

As for that little dilemma you've thrown our way... same parcel, different wrapping. So I'll just take the better rested one. *shrugs*

Hmmmm ... never thought I'd find myself feeling sorry for the Purebloods, but obviously bigtory runs both ways, eh?

That old witch was lucky she Apparated away rather than finding herself at the end of Hermione's wand. While I know Hermione's friendship with Narcissa is in the beginning stages, Hermione is not a witch to mess with. Perhaps a few stinging hexes on that fools butt as she is faced down by a Muggleborn is just what she needs!

Loved this chapter! Poor Narcissa! Severus trying to comfort her and he keeps getting interrupted by Lucius and then Draco. Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

I would have to choose Lucius, but seeing as Cissy is married to Severus, she would have no choice.
