ch 37 - I must protest your negative remarks on the poor brussel sprouts, one of my favorite vegetables! But I can definitely sympathize with Lucius that Bellatrix is enough to foul any memory, even beyond the level of disgusting zombie entrails. (and how do you think of these things???) I think Hermione is very happy to know she has some power over Lucius; she has learned the way to his heart is NOT thru his stomach. I think it's fair that she learned to reciprocate. I personally wouldn't have responded well to someone *demanding* it, but since she kind of liked it, hey! It works! And I like the fact that we know more than he does about how much his wife cares about him, for some reason. It adds a certain charm to all of their machinations and dancing around each other. Hermione seems to have a few more clues than he does at this point, and I wondered when her brain would kick in and lead her there. Voila! I had thought that Draco would have filled Lucius in on Hermione's confession that she cared for Lucius, but apparently he's having fun watching Daddy-O figure it out. Slytherin!

I'm glad she realized how much trust actually was involved with that. She does have teeth. That was probably the best lemons for me so far, because they were both engaged. It was delightful to see her make him as crazy as he's been making her.
