That ending cracked me up! Thank you for the out loud laugh. I think she was quite right in thinking one of them was soon going to get hurt. lol Even though dinner was a lot of fun, I must say I loved most the fact that despite not fully understanding each other yet, their fights are getting less vicious, more normal and much more easy to get out of for them. Hi LaBib. Sorry I didn't review the last chapter, I'm afraid we've had a family bereavement to deal with. Anyway not going to linger on that too much. Oh and don't worry . I'm not maudlin or wailing and gnashing my teeth. This was a great chapter. I thought Lucius's antics with the groupies was very hot and I'm not surprised they'd want him to be their first. How delightful! Good to see that Hermione in the end was able to throw off her jealousy. That she felt it in the first place is not unusual. I hated my husband's former fiancee and I never even met her. We had a bit of a rebound relationship as he met me three weeks after he broke-up. We're still together after thirty-one years so I suppose it didn't take him too long to get over her. I need a lot of cheering up at the moment dear, so keep me plied with your fantastic story. ch 41 - heh! Glad they had a nice dinner. Perhaps dessert can be later; I'd hate to miss out on something like chocolate torte. BTW, how are hospital patients faring? I wonder if Neville's parents are being treated well, since they're pureblood and physically helpless, at the mercy of St Mungo's staff. Umm, hi, it's been a while *avoids eye contact*. I've been reading, but usually I read right before I leave for work, so I've been lazy about reviewing. I have to say, I always love the little details that you throw in about food, culture, etc. I actually learn things when I read your stories, not something that usually happens when you read fanfiction. Is it just me, or does this story develop a little more slowly than some of the others have? I'm not complaining, just curious about the overall length and composition.

Something that I thought was very well done was Hermione's change of allegiance. She has put herself squarely on Lucius' side. I wondered how you were going to manage it at the beginning of the story, but it seems to have occurred very organically. Kudos!
