ch 44 - This line says it all: "his heart melted, he loved her so." I think Lucius will gain his goals of ruling his house and marriage, but his methods will change -- he'll need to learn that Hermione responds best to gentler methods of persuasion, not just logic and arguments. Like in this chapter, he'd given her all the "head" reasons, but what got her over was his gentleness, consideration, and concern for her pleasure and wellbeing. Yay, Lucius! And yay for LaBib! Thank you for the new chapter.

OK now i'm guilted into reviewing each chapter (and a bit afraid of being known as a lurker).
The bath scene made me laugh out loud. "No not yet" LOL. Could see Lucius rolling his eyes.
BTW "The Wedding" is my all time fave Lucius fic and i've read 1000's of them.
If you haven't already, check out Snapes_goddess. She writes an awesome Snape.

Ha! I knew those two would fall for each other and then immediately refuse to see the other as being in love! So silly. Poor couple! Bet Severus and Cissa have a plan to fix that!\

Aww! Chapter 44 was cute! Granted I'm not into the whole anal thing but it was cute how slow and gentle Lucius tried to be. Made me smile. Perhaps he is showing her his love in a more obvious way then he thinks. But then again so is she, now it's just a matter of getting them to open their friggan eyes and really look at each other lol.

Sorry, LaBib... I've been keeping up with the story, but life's been a bitch and I never leave half-arsed reviews if I can help it.
Have I told you how much I enjoy your concoctions of rational thought and sheer carnality that is 'Hermione's first time of...'? No? Well, I'm telling you NOW: I've always despised sugarcoating, even when it comes to sex.

I believe you started this story on the premise that Lucius' goals HAD changed - he's far too intelligent to marry Granger and expect to rule the roost from day one. So no, I wouldn't say his goals within this marriage did/will change... just the means he employs to obtain them.

It might defy the laws of physics - that a silver tongue will burrow deeper into woman's graces than an iron fist ever could - but we're talking magic here, after all. ^_~

Very good story! Both the sex, the intrigue and the charachters are good. I look forward to how people at Hogwarts will react to and interact with the couple! I have never read an HG/LM-story before, the pairing appeared absurd to me at first, but you have won me over. Thank you for writing!

Hi there! First, his utter horror at thinking her morality could rub off on him, was very funny. *snort* Next, brava! That wasn't "squicky" in the least, and the intimacy you sewed in so effortlessly (or so it seemed) made it almost beautiful in a strange way. Their love for one another is so fragile, but so lovely.
