I just finished re-reading your story about the veil (one of my all time faves) as there is a distinct lack of good lumiones out there. you still manage to capture lucius very well, better than any other author i've read, although snapes goddess does come in a close second behind you. i remember reading that you were working on a new story and i'm glad to have stumbled upon it as you begin posting it.

are you still in the south bay? i'm up in the east bay area, and was rather surprised to note you live in the area.

anyway, looking forward to finding out what lucius and snape have planned that required this crazy marriage!

Yay! New story to read. I'm leaving on holiday right now, and I hope you don't post too many chapters while I'm away or I'll never get caught up. Anyway, you've left me with quite a few questions: Why must he marry Hermione? How is it legal? And most importantly: Will Snape be in this? Heehee. I hope so. I'm sure all of these questions will be answered in due time, so I'll be patient and wait. I love your Lucius, I really do. He's got a much better sense of humour than I would ever think, but it definitely works. And he's sexy; you're Lucius's are always the sexiest in my opinion. How closely will this story follow the play? I was never particularly fond of it, as I liked Kate the Termagant much more than Kate the Tamed. I mean Petruccio was the biggest arse ever. Hopefully, Lucius won't starve Hermione into submission. Or make her so pliable that she'll say the sun in the moon and an old man is young. And I really hope that she doesn't give a speech at the end of it all, outlining that woman should always obey their husbands and be loyal and pleasant. Those are my only concerns. Your story though. All right, I'll stop waffling and let you know that I'm quite excited and know you'll do a marvellous job, whichever way you go about doing it.

Well, this is the first time I've been around for the beginning of one of your fics, so I figured I had better start out right and review! I'm a little in awe of your ability to keep coming up with new scenarios!

The Lucius/Hermione interaction is hilarious, as always, and I can't wait to find out exactly what Lucius' reasons for marrying her are, and how Snape is related to the whole debacle!

ch 1 - looking forward to learning why Severus and Lucius need Hermione. her temper is impressive. Lucius will get a new wand soon? or is it safer for Lucius that Hermione won't know how to use his wand if she gets hold of it? thanks for the new chapter!

What a stunning opener - they literally spark off each other! I love the way they are duelling before they can even discuss their situation. Certainly seems like Lucius has a hidden agenda - I wonder how long it will be before Hermione is let into the secret.

I also (typically) wonder where Snape comes in. And is there going to be a Bianca to Hermione's Katharina? Questions, questions...

Yay! "Shrew" is my favorite Shakespeare play and with magic this is gonna be fun! Can't wait to see why he's got a contract for her or where Sev comes in. Never thought Lucius would be so attachede to his wand as to make people question his sanity, but it makes a nice sideline.
