Haha, gotta love Lucius' snobbery as indicated by the chapters final line. I loved how you said that Lucius could easily persuade a zombie to get life insurance. I would love to see that happen. And it is hard to imagine Lucius having a zen garden and him using a rake to arrange the rocks (maybe he has elves do that)

This is very interesting. I'm curious as to the reason that it had to be Hermione. Am looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

I love that Hermione ordered herself a car. I can just see her tooling around the Malfoy estates in her Mini Cooper.
Severus conversation with Lucius has me wondering what is he hiding? What is it that Severus is urging him to tell Hermione about? Hermione is not going to be happy when she finds out that Lucius is up to something. Can't wait for the next update. :)

There's way more than one thing I liked. lol First, Lucius' insecurities make me want to give him a hug (among other things lol). His friendship with Severus cracks me up! The relaxed, drawling, snarky Sev and the uptight, nervous, anxious Lucius. They are great together. I like the fact that Lucius is really okay with Narcissa and Sev's marriage, even if he is hugely jealous of their happiness. I completely get that Hermione was forced into this and is angry and scared, but I do hope she starts to see he's not pure evil and thaws a bit soon. Plus, she may blow an actual blood vessel when she finds out whatever it is the two of them have in mind for her, so she should at least get to have good sex first. lol You know, something to remember him by before she kills him. ha ha ha Thanks. I need to know what they have up their sleeves for Hermione, its driving me insane. I usually don't ask authors for this but please udate soon.... I have to say I like the fact that you placed Snape on the sofa relaxed and eating nuts of all things. I think some stories he is so uptight and I can see with Lucius he would be more himself than his persona that he projects. Well happy writing...by the by I love the mini.Thanks!

ch 6 - My favorite line: "Given enough time the blond git could convince a zombie it needed life insurance." It's so true, but Lucius seems to be lacking in confidence. Poor blond git, missing his son. I'm glad Severus is still his friend, and even Cissa cares for Lucius. I just hope Lucius tells Hermione about The Secret, as Severus advised; Herm's temper can be formidable, and Lucius would be lucky if she only sends canaries after him. Crookshanks is a good judge of character and he doesn't have a problem with Lucius? That would be a good sign for Hermione. Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for their first night Together, but I won't make any bets on it! Thanks for the new chapter.

You are one of my favorite authors.
However, I am having trouble falling in love with this fic.
The pace is going so slow.
Though I will continue to read each incoming chapter. Hoping that it will speed up soon.

I loved the chapter!!!! :) I am sorry that I did not have time to write a review earlier, I just now finished reading chapter 5! It was great as was the other chapters were also great!!! Well as always Lucius and Hermione need to communicate better with each other! I just hope that it does NOT take them too long to get together! :) It is a different situation with Severus and Narcissa being an item, but I will go with you on this. So do update soon

I don't think any man is who they are when they're woken up early in the morning. Haha, I am just loving seeing the different dimensions that is Lucius Malfoy. I am loving the humor you're putting into him, his colorful phrases and his slight midlife crisis dream about melting chocolate dicks.
