I loved the Snape/Lucius banter! Honestly, I thought there was more chemistry between Snape and Lucius in that one little scene than between Lucius and our heroine so far. Hermione comes across as bitchy and childish rather than feisty and opinionated, (even given the circumstances of her reluctant nuptials). Although I am not a slash fan, I actually wanted Lucius to jump Snape on the settee so he wouldn't end up with that window-threatening shrew. Maybe he should think about resurrecting that other Black sister, anything to avoid Hermione....
Nevertheless, you are an extraordinary writer, one of my absolute favorites in the fandom, and I eagerly look forward to what will happen next!

Oh my, I had much to catch up on here. Lucius enjoys the bare-handed treatment, eh? Yum!
Snape is up to no good, conniving, snarky, deliciously dark and Narcissa? He married Narcissa? I certainly hope she is waiting on him hand and foot!

Man, if I were Hermione, I would never go dine with Severus seeing as he betrayed her instead of helping her. She's pretty much being used for whatever reproduction problems purebloods are having. And I can't believe she's not arguing about their intimacy date or being locked inside. Give him hell, Hermione!

I can't wait to see where you take this next! I am anxious to see how Hermione acts in the bedroom... I can't imagine it will be pretty! :) I laughed at the green Mini Cooper!! Too funny!! I can't wait for more.

The laptop and Wifi caught my attention. I would imagine the Manor having a ton of magic in the wards, etc. Has she found a way to make them work?
I love that Lucius decided he could work with her kissing him back.

I liked the Snape/Narcissa pairing--he's lead a rather adventurous life and in this incarnation, I could see him wanting to settle down to a restrained, quiet life of comanionship if not volcanic passion. I also like your Hermione-the-businesswoman take, it is an area where they would be able to come together rather easily.

Chere LaBibliographe,
thought I would read what had been posted and review at the end as I haven't been on for a while and was doing a perusal before scribbling a review or two!
Brilliant (as per) I've read most of your stories, I've just never reviewed as I could never think of anything more intelligent to say than "wow - you rock". Still can't think of anything else so here ya go - you rock.
Love your writing style and representation of Lucius, he is, I have to admit, exactly as I imagine him to be. Have a bit of a soft spot for him actually.
Can't wait to read the rest!

I'd marry him for a green mini cooper. wait, i'd marry him anyway. Loved the Severus/Lucius interaction a lot, am very very curious about the mysterious thing which Hermione needs to know!

Loved it! Especially the argument about the car, and Severus pestering Lucius about what he needed to tell Hermione before it was too late! Looking forward to reading the next chapter!

Chapter Six: You minx, you tease! What must Lucius tell Hermione lest he incur her harridan-esque wrath?! All right, now that I've got that out of my system, I can get to the real reviewing. To begin, the Lucius/Severus bits are exceptional and just spot on in regards to characterisation and dynamic. With all their verbal sallies and bilious little tiffs, the reader gets the impression that they're like an old married couple, whose vesicant and biting exchanges are merely a guise to mask their fondness for one another. It's amusing to imagine them going back and forth like that, Severus noshing on nuts(?) and Lucius being himself, without all the show and pompousness. Also, the fact that Severus can be with Narcissa--I've accepted this relationship because Severus has asserted he loves her--and Lucius doesn't resent him (much), really gives their relationships clout... *fantasizes about vulgar, slashy scenarios involving nut bowls* I love Lucius's entirely mean-spirited, arbitrary persecution of Crookshanks, which is very in character and to be expected. I don't appreciate, however, Hermione's attempts to drag the Muggle world into Malfoy Manor. Lucius + laptop = incongruous. But, I know Hermione and I know she'll get her way somehow. Will there be any, erm, vespertine endeavours next chapter? I hope so...
