6: Lovely ending! Yeah, an epilogue was definitely needed, otherwise, it wouldn't have felt like the story has concluded with the Draco/Hermione perspective. This way, we wouldn't wonder! Fantastic writing! =)

never ever apologize for how you end a story...if it feels right to you, that's all that matters. its your story. I thought it was lovely...very little words, just actions. nicely done.

Fantastic story! I have to admit, it was the chess title that drew me in in the first place, and that theme made it so intriguing, but at the same time, it all fit in so well together. I love the ending too. Yes it was a little shorter than the other chapters, but it's not as important as getting it right. Which you very much did. Keep up the good work! I shall be looking out for more of your work!

wow - that was so clever...no great battle scene, no terrible bloodshed; instead he went the way all tyrants do - quietly, decisively and firmly. Brava.

All the best plans are the simple ones! That was a fabulous chapter. Now we finally have Voldemort out of the way, Draco need not be so protective over Hermione. Not that it will stop him, LOL. All these chess references are so clever! I really love this story. Look forward to the next chapter!
