This is a gem! I hope you'll continue it soon. (So few fanfics are decently written, as you know....) I'd like to see some kind of an explanation of why Narcissa left Lucius and why Draco hates him. The Malfoys seemed to be sticking together in DH, when Lucius was a wreck (Voldemort probably Crucio'd him a whole bunch - or made Draco do it - when he found out about how Lucius got the diary destroyed), Draco was constantly terrified, Narcissa was terrified for Draco and Lucius, and Voldemort was taking every opportunity he could to humiliate the three of them. It seemed to me like they were pretty close. And remember how, in HBP, when they were at Snape's place, Narcissa rather fiercely ordered Bellatrix not to blame Lucius for the Death Eaters' failure to get the Prophecy. It seemed to me like she was very devoted to her husband and son, so I wanted to know, why the turnaround? And as for Draco, you surely remember how mad he was at Harry for getting his dad arrested.
I like the wacky-old-laws-that-are-still-on-the-books plot device (I'm from New England, where there are a lot of those "blue laws;" they're the subject of much humor). I also thought that the part where Hermione's parents were angry with her for obliviating them was good. Mr. and Mrs. Granger hardly have any personality in the books, which makes them interesting to play with in fanfics. I'm eager to see Lucius try to approach them! Talk about awkward.
There's just one thing I'd suggest adding to this chapter: maybe Hermione would have jumped into bed with Lucius on a whim, because she had the hots for him and he was flirting. But I can't see her marrying him without an explanation of his seeming change of opinion. If I were Hermione, I would be very suspicious, since he was only recently an unapologetic pureblood-supremacist. I think she would need a really convincing explanation before she would believe that he had really gotten over his prejudices, and I can't see her agreeing to marry him if she wasn't absolutely convinced that he was no longer a muggleborn-basher.

Poor, poor Hermione! Her gorgeous lover is forced to offer her a ring like a portable ice rink, luxury, status, and social prominence in exchange for a few rounds of mind-blowing, life-changing sex. Well, if she hasn't the intestinal fortitude, I'm free for the next century or so! LOL. Good chapter.

I think my favorite part of this story so far is that Lucius is the calm, level-headed one and Hermione is going with the flow, not thinking clearly and partially falling apart. lol Love it! Thanks. I look forward to more really soon! HG4eva

:O This is so awesome :)
I feel kind of sorry for them, they have to deal with marriage and Draco being a wanker.
I think it's a bit much for Hermione's parents to never forgive her because she tried to protect them and to not care about what's happening in her life? I mean, she's their only child and didn't actually harm them. Their behaviour's a bit extreme I think...
Oh and enceint should have an 'e' at the end - enceinte
Please, please, please tell me that there will be more.

Very hot! You definitely need to write more of this one. Poor Lucius. All he wanted to do was release a little built up magic...
