This chapter was totally unexpected yet wonderful. My how her life has turned out. Not at all what she expected.

My heart broke for her at nearly every word. She doesn't deserve this and I hope, pray that she will get revenge on those "friends" who have deserted her and her lousy git of a husband. I hope she finds herself again. I suspect it'll be with a vengeance...YAY!

I am so sorry I haven't reviewed before now. Please forgive me. I have been reading this story since you first put it up and it is intriguing. As much as I can't stand what Lucius and Hermione's action have done to her life and her friendships, I hope she can ultimately find some happiness with him. I hate how much I abhor Ron for what he does to her and how much it saddens me that Harry would turn on her like that. And, Ginny... Sigh. For her one action to have lost her everything is just so unbelievably awful. I don't care about the wizarding world at large, but Bill had the right of it. How long before they break her completely? I know you have a plan, so I will sit back and wait and read, because the story is compelling and well-written. I just pray somehow, others come to their senses and we get a full, happy, mentally healthy Hermione back. This shattered shell is so sad.

But, the story and writing are fantastic! So, please don't stop. :-)

Wow, that really set the tone of the last ten years. I'd have probably knifed Ron as soon as I could. His treatment borders on abusive, certainly controlling. Grab the kids and run, Herms, there is more to the world than Britain, even wizarding britain. Nicely done. Crysta.

that was so powerful....I could taste Hermione's pain. Kingsley is rather harsh, isn't he? I have a hard time believing he'd put her in manacles - in war, there are extreme circumstances and this counts as one. I look forward to your next update.

This isn't an Erotic novel. This is best featured at Fanfiction do net. Three stars for good writing. Minus Two for the content.

Thanks for letting us know where you posted. Why take it down from GE? ff.net is a strange forum, I don't post there because NC-17 stories are breaking their rules (yes, I've seen what's posted there but its not supposed to be). :-)

Now, I hope that this "beta" comment wasn't from a review at GE? If so, you need to report that person to the administrator...flamers are dealt with swiftly and justly by the moderator there, who is AWESOME. Leave that comment up so they can see it. Onto this supposed "beta's" comment, well, I'm a beta and a writer and I don't think it's crap. Who the hell does this person think they are to be so disrespectful. A true beta offers con-crit to a writer in a way that improves their writing, they offer insights to the character, point out holes, help with character development and story ideas. They do not tear down a writer or their work. I can tell you that I've read many a terrible fics (grammar, flow, ideas, spelling, plot, etc.) and I've never, ever said anything was crap. If the writer asked for honest feedback, I would offer it - in a polite, mature and constructive manner. If I didn't like or couldn't take the story, then I simply don't continue to read it.

It seems to me, in my humble opinion, that this "beta" is just a frustrated wanna be who is jealous of someone posting a fic. Who knows their motivations. However, I do know that you should never let it deter you from writing, if you enjoy it and if you feel a passion. Finish your story because you want too, not based on what others opinions are. Remember its just an opinion and not the be all, end all.

I, for one, look forward to how you will get these two characters together, in light of the circumstances and his feelings for her. How will he overcome his disdain? How does he explain what he did? And how does his family react? What will Hermione's friends do when they realize he saved her life several times?
