I am shocked that your beta-reader said that this story was crap. I'm also glad that you dropped them. While this story, like most others on this site (mine included), is rough in spots, it's well told and gives us a thoughtful look at what might have been. I like your Lucius and his internal struggles. I like your less than perfect Hermione. Thanks for sharing this with us.

What a great update. I love the look into his psyche. And the interaction with Draco was wonderful.

Lucius losing his temper was fascinating...taking out his anger and frustrations on the paintings. But how will he deal with the growing feelings for Hermione? And she clearly loves him.

boy did you through me through a loop! i was totally not expecting to see this out come! i am also hoping that you will rective the problem. ;) i am also astonished at what happened on three things one: i CANNOT believe her friends!!!! two: i SERIOUSLY CANNOT believe ron (though a lot of fanfiction hermione lovers can-he is a dork.) three: what is with hermione has she forgotten who she is she is so much stronger than this. :) well i do hope that lucius a)gets his rear in gear b) whips hermione into her old self and c) knocks weasley on his 'ass' :) do update and soon!!!!

Ok! Hermione doesn't need this treatment what she did was necessary and brave. I am with Bill here.. Her punishment had been to long, she needs a little happiness. Harry, Ron, the others setting aside Charlie, Bill and George deserve a little, no let me correct that a huge kick in the butt. They do not deserve her, she is to precious to be in the family and the way they treat her is so wrong. Please give her a divorce and quickly. Keep them coming.
