I love the concept: a Lucius version of His Saving Grace. Elias is such a hoot! He's such a neat character? Is he patterned after one of your own kids--confusing words like that? I can't wait to see how the relationship between Lucius and Hermione will come about/heat up... ;-)

Believable characters and the pacing is excellent and has allowed your readers time to accept that Lucius is now a changed man. You have not taken the easy option of being too sentimental about the struggling, teenage, single mum, coping against the odds.

I love getting the first five chapters in a chunklet like this, but I am now so hooked I am twitching for more. As always, impeccable work. I am a little fuzzy on the Ron/Hermoine timeline- first he shoves her off and then he wants a relationship even though she's up the duff? No matter, your sad and angsty Lucius has captured my heart and I can't wait for a happy ending.

aren't you supposed to be writing sev? *wags finger* naughty naughty. just kidding. i love everything you write because you write with my fave characters. no complaints here. this sounds so cute and so sad so far. poor lucius. i feel so bad for him, especially when he was in prison thinking he raped her all those years. can't wait to see what else you come up with! keep up the always awesomely amazing work!!
