I am enjoying this story as always, but I had a thought. If Snape is a full time teacher preparing students to take the NEWT's and he loves books as much as he does, wouldn't it be prudent as a teacher to have all the books necessary to properly teach his students? Therefore purchasing new books would be a waste? This is just a thought, I'm not trying to tell you that you are writing your story all wrong, I was just wondering.....

Hi Cab2000: I don't think his private collection of books would present the newest info in a way that textbooks at Hogwarts would present it. The information would probably be there in his library, but he'd have to glean through a number of books to see the changes. By looking at the current textbooks and the way things are approached, it would be a clearer, faster way of seeing the differences between what he was taught and what is being taught now. He'd be able to target his studies based on that. Then, he might be able to reference his own collection, or . . . get a tutor if necessary.

Well, looky here, another winner.

I love it. So many others have done the 'back in time' or 'spell/potion gone wrong' but this one is a teenaged Snape (not a child or baby) and no memories...nor any sign that those memories can be retrieved. Nice. It's great when someone can take a plot that's been done almost to death and breathe new life into it with a unique twist. Yummy!

And already, there's trouble in Ron's happy little world. I'm sure he's expecting a devoted wife (and mother) in his spouse, much like his own mother; whose family comes first. But I'm sure any conversation about marriage is going to bring to light just how different their goals are. Poor Ron, it's hard to compete with acadamia.

And Snape, that sly devil of a pot-stirrer (literally) just can't help himself stir up trouble...sometimes just for the amusement factor. Still, I hope things go much better for him this time. Not everyone gets a true second chance.

Oh, do continue, please!

Hi Darkless: I'm glad you are enjoying the story. But the premise or the plot bunny was given to me by a reader. I don't usually write to bunnies by others but this one was so compelling and so UNCOMPLICATED time-wise that I instantly imagined a scene, and I couldn't get it out of my head. So I started writing. It was the uniqueness of Kimberly's idea that inspired me. She put the twist in an old plot and I gladly give her the credit.
