Love it so far but, then you always write a hell of a story.I see Snape is already to help Hermione over Ron.Isn't that nice of him? It's nice to see a grown-up Ron. Can't wait for the next chappy.

Good to see Severus fly and talk to Harry a bit. Ginny made me laugh :)

Sure there is a difference. The word "lover" implies love or at least some romantic feelings; friends with benefits can be completely without those. Hermione seems to think Severus means just casual sex. But what exactly did he mean? We'll find out :)

It really was inevitable. It's not just that I dislike Ron (which I admit I do) but I just can't see these two working together, either in canon or in fanfic. Wil Draco try to cause trouble? He's very good at it ;) So, a boyfriend who wants a housewife and mother to his kids, or a casual friend with benefits. Somehow I can't see Hermione happily settling for either. There has to be something in between those two options.

I agree with pinkslytherin; possessive Severus is great!

Snakelette: There are ALWAYS other options. They have to be found out is all. But I believe there is a difference between a Lover and A Friend with Priviliges. Just what it is, I'm not sure I can describe, but there's something extra with a lover that is lacking in a friend that's casually boinked from time to time. I'll try to figure out how to explain it. I think that "lover" implies more intimacy.
