polka dot: I'd just like to say some people do in fact enjoy the scent of others, or their own scent, and men often enjoy the scent of women, and vice versa. If people didn't like to be "smelled" they wouldn't wear perfumes. Some people enjoy natural scents as well, and find them a turn on. So, although not "everybody" likes being "smelled", there are a few people in this world that actually do. :)

Wow, good old Sev (well not so old now) transforming into a gryffin! Hard to say what JKR would have chosen for him, but it makes sense after the way you described it all.
Methinks dear Hermione is just a bit smitten, more than she was when Severus was older!! After all they are the same age and have the same sense of approach to studying. Ohhh, I can't wait to see where this all leads!!

This story is so wonderful. I am imagining that Hermione's animagus may be a snake... which would be hilarious. But it would be lovely if she was a female counterpart for Severus, don't you think?

Oh poor Ron, that's not a useful form at all. Too big for stealth stuff and will stand out in a forest that it's tropical. Not to mention that wizards can probably easily zap him before he pulls thier arms off.

An Orangutan? Oh Ms_Migg, you're brillant! He must share it though. I can think of quite a few scraps that the Golden Trio got into that a primate might have been able to help out. Ducking through the Forbidden Forest, even helping to trip up a werewolf or two.
But it fits so well and I never saw it comming. One of the reasons I love you so much as an author-ess!
