OMG! that has to be one of the funniest scenes you have ever written, and that is saying something! Harry isn't going to throw up, is he? I apologize for not reviewing more regularly, but RL has gotten in the way a bit. For the record, I find this story actually rather believable: you have extrapolated so well what Severus might have been without twenty years of anger and grief and spying that I find him almost better than JK created him. His relationship with Hermione is plausible, even more so than in my own little efforts. This is great.

Hahaha! *snort* Harry's clearly going to get an eyeful of something he doesn't expect. Poor Susan, though, I suspect it'll probably break her wee heart.

And, yes, Hermione definitely looks a wee bit 'bothered'.

Mmm. I love your Snape. That came out of nowhere, sorry, must not immediately type what I think!;) Can't wait for the next update.

And the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head. It kills me that Hermione won't admit to herself that she's possessive of Snape (and not just for his books)

EEP! Harry is going to be in the ROR?! I think he'll probably want some brain bleach after he sees what will be happening there.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Hi Grid: Thanks for leaving comments. They are always appreciated. You know, I have NO idea what's going to happen with this duel at all. All of your points about it are already in my head. I don't know if there will be a clear winner or what? If there is, who will it be? And how will it be? I'm bouncing some ideas around, but I won't know until I actually write the chapter how it's going to go. But I'm glad you're enjoying the story and thank you for sharing your thoughts about the upcoming duel. :) In the case of Hermione and Snape, I always thought Hermione would have to give up a lot in order to excell at her marks, and be a bit driven and selish . . . not because she's a selfish person by nature, but just because she wants to do extremely well. So I wrote her that way. A young, open Snape willing to express himself is a joy to write, because it is such an anti-thesis to how he really is. Basically, I'm just having fun with it and keeping him rather romantic and compelling at the same time for our Snapey heartstrings. But it's Hermione being so thick-headed that keeps it all from turning to soppy mush. lol. Again, thanks for commenting.

I've spent the last few days reading through this -and I love it! I'm not really one for Snape/Hermione but I really do love this.

Mainly because Snape is so... warm, despite still being a snarky little git, Hermione is Hermione, and Ron actually features enough, in a great way. Sorry for joining the party late, but can't wait for your next update!
